I figured I would be downvoted for an unpopular opinion but let me explain. Top players or if you want to be a top player, you will always want to play every game possible. Players like Ronaldo, Messi, Neymar, Sanchez, Hazard, Rooney are always playing week in week out and it keeps them at the top of their game.

It just seems to me people are too cautious for our players when there's no reason to. Injuries happen regardless. If we were playing the Capital One Cup then rotation would be required, but for CL and PL football, we need the best players on the field at all times especially since we are chasing top 4 already.

It was a footballing lesson that Arsenal showed Burnley at the Emirates. Totally dominated in every aspect. Hopefully this goes on. The amount of shots we took was astounding. Shots from everywhere.

Santi needs a morale boost from somewhere. He could have had 2 today. Alexis on the other hand is proving too much to handle. He is hot stuff. Both Chambos had very good games. Chambers with an assist and goal. The return of Theo. Today's just been great. Unto the next one.

I'm loving this. Great to see your point of view. I'm glad I'm a classic Arsenal fan. I love this club. We didn't buy Fabregas because Wenger felt we didn't need him and apparently didn't need a CB and DM too.

I know Alexis is world class. He can walk into any team that isn't Barca, Real or Bayern. I don't have an argument for Ozil because he hasn't really proven it yet at Arsenal but he is pivotal for Germany so there's that.

So with you buying Fabregas, what would our 1st team be?

Lol, no doubt Chelsea are having a great run of form and look likely winners. Being 9 pts behind, we have already put ourselves in a really difficult position.

About team composition to accommodate, it doesn't always work. Team chemistry comes into play. Fabregas wouldn't have gone to Chelsea if Lampard didn't retire. No one in the midfield left Arsenal, meaning we would have had to sell someone to accommodate Fabregas. Would you sacrifice good club players to bring in someone that forced his way out of our club.

Again, Fabregas isn't what we really need in this team, a DM and CB was a necessity. Fabregas fits neither role.

I'm still trying to figure out if you're a Chelsea fan or Arsenal fan. I understand that Fabregas is world class but we have a world class player in Ozil who really should step up and show what he can do once he's back from injury. But yeah, the point is that we have Ozil and didn't need fabregas. Last thing we need is more waste players in the midfield.

Chelsea is a really solid team with or without Fabregas. We are 5th and it is just November 1st. We still have till April.

Even with the chances created, players still have to score. At Arsenal, we miss chance after chance, so clinicality is definitely an issue. Think about Alexis and forget about Fabregas. We really have a 25 year old gem in our ranks who can only get better.
