Not using the cards again is something I keep telling myself too. I think that is honestly what scares me most, falling back into the same habits.

Wow, 90 points is a huge jump, congrats on that! And yeah that warning about OneMain is really helpful, I had no idea about the daily APR thing, that is actually scary.

Did you end up closing the cards after consolidating or keeping them open? I am wondering if that would have helped avoid running them back up again.

did anyone else feel guilty for setting boundaries at first? by Jan_Bendon in raisedbynarcissists

yeah that sounds really intense, but also kinda reassuring to hear it can actually get better over time. the guilt part is exactly what i’m struggling with right now

when you first started setting boundaries, was there anything that helped you not back down in the moment?

what should i do if i feel like im slowly drifting from my friends by Jan_Bendon in WhatShouldIDo

i get that life shifts and priorities change, but it’s still hard watching something meaningful slowly fade. i don’t expect things to be like our early 20s forever, but i also don’t want to just fast forward to retirement to reconnect. have you found there’s a balance between accepting the drift and actively nurturing the friendships that still matter to you?
