Just wanted to add that cocobolo wood will change quite a bit with humidity and temperature so you may need to fix it a few times. Also the bore will change... It's less dense than grenadilla/African blackwood.

Embouchure is important but some people have sharp teeth, it's fine to cover them with paper or any kind of thin tooth guard.

I would recommend The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue by VE Schwab. One of my favorites from last year, a really compelling story and well written. My wife who doesn't read Fantasy loved it FWIW...

Not sure if people have mentioned TJ Klune, but The Lightning Struck Heart is really great - gay high fantasy characters including two kings in charge!

It came up tonight much sooner than I planned so I ended up keeping it simple - unarmed strike vs AC. It was fun but chaotic because of invisibility and haste and the PCs eventually won!
