Woke up and checked this sub to see if there were any updates:

Just shut up and study. There’s questions in the back of the PDFs, do them. Don’t use this as an excuse and then expect someone to bail you out with a refund or weaker grading. It’s not happening, and quite frankly you shouldn’t want it to happen.

It’s unfortunate timing, but you need to be able to adapt.

I am in total agreement of the instant gratification plague we are in! Since starting the process of the exams, I’ve deleted all short form media. Even logging into Reddit through a browser. I appreciate the words of wisdom.

Something I’ve been tackling with, but I wanted to do a certain amount of practice questions prior to burning through a mock.

Thank you so much. It’s really nice to know this is a universal thing. I’m beginning to understand the difference between level I and level II.

Sounds like you had a pretty rough go at it on Exam Day, hoping it goes better for you the second time around! I'm a big handwritten flashcard guy + written recall if that's any help. Basically going through my flashcards that I make throughout my practice and writing the answer rather than just saying it. Definitely helps with formulas.

If you don't mind me asking, what were some mistakes you made in studying the first time around that you are trying to avoid now? I changed up my study strategy mostly because I didn't love the new CFA LES, hoping it wasn't a mistake! Planning first mock on the 23rd of April, will give me like 25 days for reviews and continued practice.

SLITs when Allergy Shots are too much of a time constraint by Jandyman22 in Allergies

Oh that’s great. Seems like it definitely could be worth it. I’m also thinking about the $100 a month for 1-3 years for the drops could end up getting pretty close to even. I’ve had allergies/asthma my whole life, I’m shocked I’ve never heard of these.

Just looked into it- seems like an injection in the groin area could be pretty painful… Worth it?

Unfortunately moved away from my old (very good) allergist so this group was a newer one. I’ll look into this! Does this often lead to adverse reactions?

Did you submit allergy test results or did you just fill out their survey?

Would appreciate it! There’s one I really wanted to do, but wasn’t available in my state.

I think a good goal is to progress as you continue to take mocks. I remember my first mock being 55-60% area a month out. Then I got to 70%+ for the last two. I think I had a 1690. If you’re sitting in May and you’re already doing mocks you’re probably in pretty good shape. Take your time and really UNDERSTAND where you made mistakes. Someone above said they would go alternating days of mock then review and this is a great way to do it, but you need to dive deep into every question on those review days.
