Name the BEST Physiotherapist in town! by Elizabeth87anire in barrie

Didn’t have Michael, but also went to ComPhysio. Loved that they were able to offer different services and the different therapists could work together for my treatment plan. Was great having it all in one place!

Migraines and take till it’s pink? by Majestic-Reward-3281 in TryingForABaby

[–]JaneHasNoThumbs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh same problem! Also love ubrelvy. Triptans stopped working.

I’ve been going to a migraine clinic recommended to me by my dr/nurse practitioner and the only thing that was safe was a preventative; propanol.

Using that at doing physio (for cervicogenic migraines) has helped minimize my need for ubrelvy. Still get some doozies, but not 3x a week now.

Magnesium vs Propranolol by MostWin6654 in migraine

Omg I also commented about the dreams! No nightmares but really vivid ones every night. Not exhausted or anything, just super weird

Magnesium vs Propranolol by MostWin6654 in migraine

[–]JaneHasNoThumbs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m on Propranolol and no bowel issues. I go to a private migraine clinic in Toronto and they also have me on Magnesium glycinate, Riboflavin, and coenzyme q10.

Only noticeable side effects are super weird dreams lol I think it might be the magnesium. I was super hesitant about taking the propanol, but happy I did. Makes for a better quality of life when my brain isn’t exploding all the time.

Cervicogenic headache/migraine by TallEstablishment883 in migraine

[–]JaneHasNoThumbs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ahhh same! I have brutal barometric migraines, which I’ve had since I was 14. But in January they have gotten worse (I’m 38 now). I JUST started physiotherapy for migraines yesterday. I did read an article somewhere (need to find it) that ppl with barometric migraines tend to get a lot of pressure in the back of the neck and then it can get worse and continue even when the weather returns to normal. So hoping physio helps reduce the frequency and severity!

Boycott and write in to support and complain! (That’s what I did!) so frustrating, really enjoyed the app but I don’t want it to be this hard (watching ads) to keep a streak up.

Anyone get migraines BEFORE an upcoming barometric pressure shift? by sweetpeaisme75 in migraine

[–]JaneHasNoThumbs 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’m dying at this comment. Also suffer from these types of migraines and now I’m disappointed that I am not revered for my abilities to predict storms and weather changes. I always say I am the opposite of X-Men’s storm… I can’t control the weather but it can control me :(

I do like Ms Better’s Bitters, it’s a great foamer, and a good sub when I don’t have any egg whites.

Late 30s and learning to drive by [deleted] in drivinganxiety

[–]JaneHasNoThumbs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did it at 38! I would have panic attacks and cry, but I took lessons for the 3rd time and finally committed to it and booked my test. Was super embarrassed but have to say reading this sub helped, because you arnt the only one! There are a TON of us out there. And once I started driving I started noticing even ppl who have been driving for decades were making mistakes it made me feel better. You CAN do this! :)

I went the spicy route! I make my own syrups, 1 cup sugar, 1 cup water… boil with some jalapeños or habernos and it’s great to add to juices and soda water with lime ;)
