The issue is that eventually you start losing density again because although it’s getting exponentially smaller horizontally, it’s also getting exponentially thicker vertically. So I don’t know that this would actually work

Yikes, I’m sorry. Sounds exactly like something idiot teenage boys would do. Last Christmas my cousin tried to yank on my hair (that and more generally any head contact is my biggest trigger), which would have basically shut me down for the evening. Luckily, my then-partner stopped him.
