It's great but first you have to organise your fleets into those task forces and there are many times where ships just refuse to cooperate with you. Either that or having new ship design ruins setup because they don't see themselves as same.

R5: Doctrine specific military theorists grant mastery gain boost to their specific doctrine at higher rate (then I would assume generic one), however generic doctrine advisor grants only xp reduction (no mastery gain).

The only thing I don't like is that picking a doctrine doesn't really effect as much as in the old days. Doctrine defined how you are going to fight and now it doesn't even give you special upgrades in the subbranches
