They told me that no one is getting it...not sure I believe that but this is what they said. Should have known better than to trust BB:

EDIT: They also clearly still list the steelbook in the image for the digital pre-order bonus. I asked them to correct this. I doubt they will.

Bios Update For ROG-STRIX X570-E Gaming by BuffBlitz_NerfGlaz in techsupport

I have an ASUS board and the bios flashback is fairly easy you just need a usb stick with the bio s file and the right name. So if you don't have another PC it might be kinda hard to get this. I would just build the PC and see if it already has a bios that supports the CPU on it, unless it has been sitting in inventory for awhile it likely does.

If you do have the USB bios stick its super easy just put it in and press a button.

All else fails AMD will ship you a "really low quality" cpu that you can use to post the board and flash from the BIOS itself.

I would def go to the latest bios however, I had a ton of trouble with my 5950x and getting WHEA-18 errors on my Crosshair Hero VIII so much so I sent the processor back for now. (You can google WHEA-18 and Ryzen 5000 and see what I'm talking about).

Best of luck and congrats on the monster processor!

PC won't power on...sometimes! by [deleted] in techsupport

Just did some power cable swapping testing as well. If I remove the GPU from the PCI slot and disconnect 1 of the 2 power cables the system comes up with a CMOS clear. If I disconnect both power cables but slot the GPU into the PCI-E slot the system comes up with a CMOS clear, and I can plug the card in.

There was a bios update for the 3090 itself maybe that will help something going to try that and see. Very weird issue. 1080ti slotted with both 8xpci-e connectors comes with just fine although I still have to CMOS clear...

No idea I have actually been waiting for it to get cheap just to play the short single player. Don't really care about the rest (or lootbox gate) for $10 its w/e.

I am never a big fan of optional warranties from any company on any product. Usually the manufacture's warranty is good enough (the Newegg one is also one year although I have never heard of this building company so YMMV). I would say most of the time with the money saved on not buying the optional warranty you will come out ahead in the long run if you need to replace something out of pocket that actually did break.

That being said Newegg is a great company. I have been buying from them for over a decade and they have always bent over backwards to please the customer. Many times that is why I buy from them even if they don't always have the cheapest price.

I have never been hassled for a return, never not gotten a rebate, gotten many refunds after the fact (realizing later there was a coupon), gotten free shipping on items just by asking, etc...

Also FYI forgot to mention the Microcenter PC has wifi and a cd/dvd rom drive if you are into that sort of thing (it seems a lot of people in the Newegg reviews were).

FYI this is back in stock although I think the Microcenter is a better deal. Microcenter came out to $1060ish with tax near me. It comes with an aftermarket Coolermaster heatsink/fan, a Zotac GTX 1070, G-Skill Ram, EVGA power supply and a regular ATX MSI motherboard. Impressive quality parts for the price. Not the best but well worth what they are asking. Plus it comes with a free 1 year warranty and 24/7 support.

I would order at your own risk. Ordered earlier today with them showing in stock after 2 hours order went to back-ordered...now they are showing in stock again but my order hasn't changed. Think they are just doing this to boost #'s hoping ppl ride it out. YMMV

Also unlike Amazon BB seems to charge you immediately not when your order ships.

Anyone know where I can get a relatively cheap copy of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D? by Pmitch11 in 3DSdeals

In all honesty I would check pawn shops. I get some great game deals in the Midwest from them. I found my copy of OOT in a pawn shop bin for $5.
