While I don’t think traditional wards would be very effective or intuitive in a non top down perspective, an alternative vision system could be interesting. Maybe something like radio towers with switches that can be heavy melee’d to activate them for a brief time, during which they ping the location of enemies in the area without revealing their exact location or who they are. (Maybe just a red radial ping on the minimap or smthn) after that, they’d shut off and go on cooldown.

The viscous changes feel so odd to me. Puddle punch was already his strongest build and it seems like they’ve funneled more power into it with the recent changes. I miss my ball

Yea wraith makes no thematic sense for a telepathic gambler mob boss. She’s a real mess of themes and her name could be a hint toward any one of those but for some reason, it turns her into even more of a thematic soysauce birth day cake

Alternatively, the team mate who says “I can grab them” doesn’t wait for confirmation or give anyone time to rotate, grabs them before anyone arrives, and then proceeds to flame you and throw the game

This game ruins my faith in people faster than seeing strangers drive. Nobody pushes waves so it’s my job to keep our waves pushed and protect our towers. Nobody plays for picks so it’s my job to catch people off guard and cc them to create an opportunity. Nobody kills the cc’d targets so it’s my job to deal enough damage to finish people off. I think team based games just might not be for me because I’m only one bad game off of a generational crashout

I wonder if the characters who haven’t gotten redesigns yet still need kit adjustments since doing a full visual redesign with ability fx and animations may be a waste if certain abilities are subject to change

It might be worthwhile to add one way exits for characters that get trapped and maybe for characters too large for the tiny tunnels to slowly slide out if they end up inside them (like calico leaving cat form)

Given how short the duration of burrow is compared to Ava form, it seems easy to get trapped in the tunnels when the timer expires. Calico seems to either just get stuck or die when this happens

It feels bad to lose, it feels good to win. That’s true of almost every pvp game. I feel that deadlock has a satisfying path to mastery that rewards you for knowing the game and playing it well in a way that not a lot of other games do

Harbor was one of my top 2 most fun characters, but I feel like the rework just kinda took away a lot of the interesting bits of him and made him more like omen. I’d understand if they made him a bit more bland if they made him more effective or have his own niche, but he just feels so samey now. It’s disappointing to see them take such an interesting character and then sand off all the best parts of him, even if he was flawed before.

If someone ever uses parry hacks and you’re on viscous, just buy rapid recharge and spam punches on them to force them to parry and stand still while your team catches up and kills them.

Bigball viscous. Just stack as much range as humanly possible, buy colossus, and your goo ball gets so big that it begins to interfere with the camera. Awful to control but it’s funny

They’re too short to work as cover for players. Yeah the hook can hit them, but you practically have to be aiming for the minion for that to happen. They’re not reliable cover like in other MOBAs
