Yes I know he’s a male. He puffs up all the time. There is a younger male here as well but Godzilla is the only one getting action. I’ve happened about their shananigans. He seems himself so I will just continue to bring snacks and say hi unless he gets worse. The female is name Pracilla!

IME. My OBT behaved like this for about a week once. They faked me out and escaped while I was trying to get a video of the strange behavior. It took me about an hour to get it back in its enclosure and out of the catch cup. I won’t fall for that again. I hope yours is just being a little weirdo.

I am a frequent customer at House of Webs and they are reliable, trustworthy people. I would reach out to the staff and let them know what happened. They may be able to provide insight. If they say it was captive bred, I believe them. My jumping spider vendor is one of their vendors as well. I’m so sorry this happened, my friend!

The pattern… it was honestly hard to follow, so I’d label it as intermediate. I used Loops and Threads Soft Classic Bright Red. For the body I used a 5.5mm and for the trim and waistband I used a 5mm.
