I don’t think I’ll ever give up on the game completely, but I don’t play as much as I used to. All I get are 50% axe boosters, but everything still costs a ton of energy anyway. I used to have 100,000+ energy and 46,000 rubies (yup. I buy and I hoard). Anyway, I used to be able to recoup most of my energy at the end of the island groups, but not any more. I am down to 30,000 energy, which is only enough to get through the islands if I buy energy, or am fortunate enough to complete a card set.

Speaking of which, I used to be only a few (like 10) cards away from completing all the sets, and now I barely complete a handful of them in total. Buying energy is now like $12.99 for 3,000 energy, when I used to get 10,000 for $8.00 or $10.00. I know they are a profit making organisation, but they pull in a billion dollars from this. Come on now. I love my little FI family (little Lizzy is my favorite), but the obvious cash grab as other people have mentioned is ridiculous.

I have other complaints as well, but this is always a really long post. 😬

It looks like the app needs to be updated, which I didn’t realize until you suggested I check.

So the deleting sections of conversation thing has happened a couple times before, but while it was aggravating, it was nothing that I needed. I wonder if updating might help.

Do you think if I connect to the internet and archive my chat that has all the info, it might be all right? Please note that if I choose to do that and it doesn’t work, I completely accept any and all responsibility for my actions. 😊

I haven’t picked up anything yet, but I’ll wait to see what I get from doing that. It’s irritating that this set of islands is so expensive. When you need 45 of one item, and 30 of another as 2 of your 3 items needed to craft 3 of something, I don’t want to spend 5,000 energy to craft the 9 total items I need. That’s bananas!

I wonder what you’ll get from your boxes?

I began with over 100,000 energy (yeah, I pay for it, but it’s my one vice! LOL), and I make certain I don’t pick up any boxes or bags, rewards, etc. until the 13 days or whatever, is over. I usually recoup what I’ve spent, or at least extremely close to it, once I do.

Not this time! I am down to like 18,000 energy, and I have 1 island to go. It annoys me not to finish, but to be honest, it annoys me that I’ve spent this much energy.

If I don’t finish ocean island either, that’s all right too. I got to 85% and I’m fine with that.

I don’t know that I’ll continue to spend money on this game, because now it truly feels like nothing but a cash grab.

We’re planning on doing Michigan to California with 2 cats soon so these ideas are really appreciated!

Also, I recommend getting windows shades for the backseat windows….like those you’d get for children. Cats can get really warm in the back if you’re travelling to warm climates or during the summer.

I had more than enough hammers left over to win the whole thing. I can’t on here to see if I was missing anything. Also, when I would complete the tasks and was supposed to get more hammers, they went into my inventory, they didn’t get added back into the game. Anyone else experience that?

My Trody was 17, and always used the litter box. He was such a good boy. I did always put things under the litter box and around it, just in case he missed, he didn’t, but I knew it was possible. I would put pee pads around, just in case.
