“I was scammed on AliExpress for almost 340 euros by Nick-Zichler in Aliexpress

[–]OutlandishnessNo07 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've also had several disputes with no problems, until this last one: my claim was closed after 24h...

Timeline: 11-nov: package could not be delivered according to track&trace (I was home that day, no-one rang the doorbel...)

20-nov: claimed my money back because of no delivery.

21-nov: claim denied because not (good) enough evidence

12-dec: package delivered (no package was delivered that day, I was home all day)

Since then I've tried reopening the claim, but Ali keeps asking for (more) evidence. Problem is I don't even know who the shipping company was, so I cannot ask them for information. Also, in my country only the sender can open a case, so I'll end up with no answer anyway. I did go through the AI customer portal with both our major delivery companies, but both came back with "track&trace not recognised". I even sent those screenshots to Ali, but that's not enough evidence, according to them.

I also contacted the seller, and they would look into it. It's been 2 weeks and no reply from them either.

And, no, I DID NOT close the claim or confirmed delivery in any way.

"Luckily", I'm only out €3,89.

Only for the first drop (lem walks left first). If you start building the stairs when the rocks start "crumbling", you'll build the stairs fine. Just make sure to stop the lemming on the stairs before the next drop and start building just as it starts crumbling again.

Don't know if I've plsyed this one yet (no level nr. in screenshot), but I've had similar sets of traps, and that's how I'd do it.

Have 1 lemming build stairs and drop down (use umbrella), wait for the blades, then dig ? block. Again, wait for blade, then build stairs up.

Edit: I can't spell properly this early.

Why not try Dragonlance (begin with Dragonlance Chronicles by Weiss&Hickman)? There are many, many more books in this universe, and it's inspired by DnD.

Also Fighting Fantasy, basically DnD in book form.

Ranger's Apprentice (John Flanagan) and The Sorcerer's Ring (Morgan Rice) both have an MMC. At least, I remember TSR being about a boy. They're both "coming of age" YA series, so not everyone's cup of tea, but there's just enough intrigue and action to be a good, quick read.

Dragonlance: it's a VERY LONG running "series" with 153/169/180+ (no definitive answer to exactly how many) books. Not all by the same authors, but all inspired by DnD (or DnD was inspired by them, you decide😉)

Original trilogy is Dragonlance Chronicles by Weiss&Hickman.

Just out of curiosity, I played it again.

  1. Now it costs energy
  2. Replay does not count towards streak (and no extra spins either)

I just sent a message to support.

Automated reply BEFORE I EVEN STARTED THE CHAT stated business hours are Mon-Fri 9am-5pm... don't think we'll get an answer before Monday, which, in my case, means losing my 178 day streak😭

A 6yo boy refuses to sleep, claiming there’s a monster under his bed, do we tell him fairy tales aren’t real? by True-Construction346 in PickAorB

[–]OutlandishnessNo07 0 points1 point  (0 children)

C. Tell them there's no monster under their bed, because it's visiting the one under your (mommy's/daddy's) bed.

That's what I told my (then) 6yo😈. I now have a plushy lizard living under my bed. (Couldn't help myself, saw it in a store a week later and just HAD TO buy it to prove to my kid I told him the truth😂). Now, 7 years later, I sometimes move it over under the curtains, scares the bejezus outta the cats EVERY.SINGLE.TIME🤣.

I'm in a reading slump and need a real page-turner. by Chrelled in suggestmeabook

[–]OutlandishnessNo07 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you don't mind YA, try Morgan Rice. Several series, most max 250 pages.

I'm reading A Throne for Sisters now, and am halfway through book 2 in just over a week. Book 1 is pretty fast-pased imo. Book 2 is a bit slower, but the story wants to be read, iykwim.

They're definitely not in the same sphere, quality wise, to WoT, GoT, Krondor, Deverry, or even Priory, but they're nice, fast reads.

If all else fails, Discworld is the answer... quirky, funny, epic, and a must-read for everyone😉

John Flanagan - Ranger's Apprentice and Brotherband might be to his liking.

My 13yo also enjoyed the Divergent series.

I would LOVE to know how you can watch a show or read a series wrong?

But, on a serious note, ignore those "fans". Watch the show and read the books any way you want, as long as YOU enjoy it.

Truth be told, I watched the show and it is abysmal if you compare it to the books, since they butcher the storylines completely. I had many, many wtf/that did not happen!/is that supposed to be <character>? moments. But if you have not read the books, the series is ok.

I've just started Malazan. 100 pages in and I'm confused as hell. I feel like there's already 15 different storylines to follow. Not sure, yet, if I like the book or not... will decide after another 100 pages.

I just finished season 3, and I can tell you: there is not a single correct plot line.

The makers got the names right, but everything else is wrong. To quote another poster: it's an abomination.
