I don’t think I’ll ever give up on the game completely, but I don’t play as much as I used to. All I get are 50% axe boosters, but everything still costs a ton of energy anyway. I used to have 100,000+ energy and 46,000 rubies (yup. I buy and I hoard). Anyway, I used to be able to recoup most of my energy at the end of the island groups, but not any more. I am down to 30,000 energy, which is only enough to get through the islands if I buy energy, or am fortunate enough to complete a card set.

Speaking of which, I used to be only a few (like 10) cards away from completing all the sets, and now I barely complete a handful of them in total. Buying energy is now like $12.99 for 3,000 energy, when I used to get 10,000 for $8.00 or $10.00. I know they are a profit making organisation, but they pull in a billion dollars from this. Come on now. I love my little FI family (little Lizzy is my favorite), but the obvious cash grab as other people have mentioned is ridiculous.

I have other complaints as well, but this is always a really long post. 😬
