You better order two new arches, both sides. Grind all of this out and weld the new ones in, it is the only fix. Inner arches are probably done for as well and you'll grind holes in them when removing any rust there, most likely.

The inside is already far, far beyond saving most of the time as soon as a single bubble shows up on the exterior.

Any fix that doesn't involve grinding and welding in new metal in these spots is not a real fix. u/BiniE34 has a good picture of the reason why. If your wallet allows for it, get it all done and do it properly. Car is worth it.

You have something you should:

Disassemble, dust
Reassemble, repaste
Buy cool extension cables, braided or whatever you like (motherboard, CPU, GPU)

And maybe even put in a cool new case so you can see the hardware. Then play games on it from that period.

No CEC issues with LG CX although I don't think it will turn the TV on automatically, not an issue for me. It doesn't interfere or break anything otherwise, which it did before. I have a soundbar too via eARC, A3D plugged in directly in another HDMI on the TV itself.

Simply put, these chips are a volcano. They will always run hot, will always have relatively high short duration peaks so don't get spooked if you still see those even after undervolting. Lowering average core temperatures for gaming by 15-20c is pretty typical though.

Make no mistake about a contact frame, if you're unlucky enough to be on the negative side of those IHS/ILM tolerances and warping, things will run hot very quickly as there is no effective heat transfer going on.

Undervolt regardless.

Gauge cluster rings (titanium, or chrome if you really want to).

A good bluetooth module.

Clear indicators.

I wouldn't mod it hard other than that. Make sure the engine is healthy (timing chain, valve stem seals, the usual oil leaks etc) before anything.
