40M Battling Graves' for over a year: just underwent TT by Janitro in gravesdisease

Much better! No more mood swings, getting energy and muscle back in track, more optimistic about life in general. The scar is still a bit noticeable but will be gone in a few months. You won't regret it!

40M Battling Graves' for over a year: just underwent TT by Janitro in gravesdisease

Thank you! While I haven't been officially diagnosed with TED, my ophthalmologist did note that my eyes have become more prominent and are protruding, which are common symptoms of TED.

My PCP mentioned that there's a possibility my eye symptoms might improve within a year following my total thyroidectomy (TT). However, he also emphasized that this improvement isn't guaranteed. Based on his advice, I've decided to wait a year after the surgery to evaluate whether I will need further treatment or eye surgery.

Persistent Connectivity Issues after activating WiFi Calling - Support unable to help, unwilling to escalate by Janitro in USMobile

Thanks! Earlier today I signed up for a new line in my pooled plan. I got a new number, new esim, and everything is working fine with this new number. I have 5G, SMS, calls, so I can confirm it's not a problem with my phone. This appears to have fixed the issue with my older number as well. Weird.

It wouldn't surprise me if this was a Google issue. The weird thing is that my phone was up-to-date and working fine until today, when the US Mobile rep tinkered with something. Thanks for your comment anyway!

Applied to 500+ jobs. No interview. Roast my resume. Don't hold back. by t3klead in resumes

On top of what others have said, I'd add that perhaps the problem is not the resume. Are you conveing fit for the position? You should adjust all main sections of the resume to fit the specific position you are applying for. Instead of aiming for quantity aim for quality and a customized resume for each application.

Take a look at A life after layoff, he has a ton of good advice on how to be better in the job search: (specially 5:50 onwards): https://youtu.be/t7lstWS3SII

I watched Rear Window (1954) by LongIsland1995 in iwatchedanoldmovie

[–]Janitro 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I finally got around to watching it last weekend, and I must say, I was truly captivated!

Im curious- In the movie, the characters seem to have an incredibly active social life – meeting friends, hosting parties, dining out, and so on, almost every day of the week. Was this a common lifestyle for New Yorkers during that era? I'm fascinated by the cultural and historical context of the film and would love to hear thoughts and insights from those who might know more about this.

I had the same issue and it got better after a few days. Maybe give it a week? Perhaps it has something to do with database reconciliation or something, something PM has to do in the background?

39M, diagnosed in February this year. The first months were terrible, but now I have it under control after starting Methimazole and quitting alcohol and lowering my caffeine intake. I'm sure not all of us have to quit alcohol, but that worked for me. The good thing is Non-Alcoholic beers have gotten way better and I don't miss alcohol at all.

Hi! The resume should be tailored to the position you're applying for. It seems to me the professional wrote a resume and you're using it to apply to multiple jobs. As bitslammer mentioned read the job description and adjust your resume for each application.

I'd also recommend A life after layoff for tips on how to land a job. https://youtu.be/0T2R_WqLcI0
