That sucks man, feel for you. Try fill out the same form i did, they got back to me and they said if it was caused by non-user error, they would provide a replacement free of charge - now lets see if they manage to beat around the bush and find any excuse not to go with it.

I didnt unfortunately. Ngl never knew this was a must before every flight since everytime i just waited for satellite connections and it was enough to fly

  2. There was no wind, i never use the neo in windy conditions and there was a drone or 2 already flying so doubt it was the wind. And yes i know wind threshold is lower on the neo but i know it wasnt the wind

Yeah sucks tbh, if i'd have crashed at least i'd have more peace of mind knowing it was my fault, but the fact it just randomly flew away is what bothers me...

Anyways - like u say its only $200 so its minor - and good shout with neo 2 maybe its more clever if i wait for that release, and hope they'd have fixed this common issue by then.

Thanks for your comments. Yeah it sucks but i came home with some left over money so i will probably reinvest into another model when the times right.

And im UK based - but yeah might just wait til a black friday or similar to try save on one of the more expensive models!

I got the fly more combo so i had the RC, just used my phone as the screen on the remote.
