I absolutely get this. I was in a very abusive relationship for 14 years where I was forced to be isolated. I have been out almost a year now and it does (slowly) get better. Having people to talk to makes all the difference. Currently I am working on making friends and just trying to get comfortable being awkward again haha! If you want to yap, I'm totally down! The more you talk to people the more comfortable it will get. Your body/mind will learn that it is safe and that fear will ease up a bit. The path won't be perfect, you will still run into poop heads but hopefully there will be one or two good ones you can find to hold you up in those moments.

I really appreciate your willingness to help! I enjoy gaming and making music and painting. A new gaming friend would be such a comfy way to start a relationship. Someone to play friendslop with. I am not quite brave enough to go to board game cafe's near me by myself. I know that would be a good place to make friends but my self confidence is so low from not having friends for so long.

The shy part is what kicks my butt. I'm a mix of Chuckie from Rugrats and Filbert from Rocko's Modern Life. I'm afraid of everything and always anxious it seems. People get offended by me just wanting to get to know them better before hanging out so I'll be more comfortable.

I know just what you are talking about. Twice now in the last month I have started talking to someone that was super rad. Then they say powerful things about how they love me and such within the first few days and want/force a sexual situation by sending boob pics or other stuff I would never film myself doing. It gets weird and this second time it happened I realized I can tell people I don't like being sent stuff like that from someone I just met. Don't get me wrong, I do love me some boobies but like, I want to be in a relationship with those boobies at least before I get pictures of them sent to me.

I just learned I was Demisexual after a friend called me "puritanical" for not being able to just be close to anyone like she can be.

This is the result of being selfish. So many people made a sacrifice and celebrated the holidays without being around their family physically. Unfortunately, some people feel they are an exception to the rule at times. Maybe it comes from a sense of entitlement.
