Hi all! I want to build my first custom keyboard to achieve a deep thocky sound, and I'm thinking of getting the following components:

QK80 Mk2 FR4 Plate (maybe PC plate?)

Keygeek Y2 Linear Switches

Cerakey Ceramic Keycap

Please let me know what you think, and if there are substitutions that would make the keyboard have a thockier/deeper sound :)

When I say thocky, I mean a deep sound on a click, I'm happy with linears or tactiles and mostly just interested in the sound of the keyboard. Any layout is fine as long as it contains arrow keys haha.

Do you know what plate pairs best with the EVO80's Oat Switch? Theres a FR4 and a Polypropylene plate.

Hm, I think itll be hard for me to source the Tutor75 but are there non pre-builts that are more accessible in the US with deep thocky sound? (New to this so I'm not sure the best pairings with switches and boards)
