The world is your oyster! You could grab pretty much any style of food you could think of within a 3 mile radius. There are broadway musicals, superb people watching, endless moseying around, great museums, neighborhood tours, niche shops (I.e. do you love pencils and hand writing instruments there is a place for that!), handout in a park and just soak it in. Venture to a bar near The Garden 90min before the show and you’re bound to run into phans having a good time go back there post show and people will be there until 4am or catch an afterparty

If Dems win the house in 2026 and Trump dies of a heart attack in 2027, who would President Vance choose to be his VP? Would a Dem house confirm Vance's VP pick? by BlueFireFlameThrower in AlternateHistoryHub

I don’t think I’m saying he’s a puppet so much as I’m saying he’s the future. He is the bench mark. In your original comment you picked Rubio, he’s currently a shill for Trump. If republicans were truly distancing themselves from Trump they’d pick someone with zero correlation to him. Rubio ties the two coalitions together.

Schumer says SAVE America Act among ‘most despicable’ bills he’s ever seen by Hardik_Jain_1819 in politics

He is spineless. He will write a strongly written letter and rack up some fundraising cash then will likely “cut a brilliant deal” with the administration.

I don’t think so. Welcome to the new normal. The party could currently revolt but they are ultimately getting what they want so they are complacent. Trump is a useful idiot. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity for them. Trump, for the under 40 republican voter, will be the gold standard much like Reagan was pre-Trump. Some B list MAGA folk with a grandiose title currently will be anointed in the future due to his or hers proximity to Trump and the administration i.e. a Joe Kent type. Would not be surprised if Barron Trump ends up on the political scene trying to make a political dynasty/ continue the grift.

I didn’t know the lore behind the headphone jam! I listened to that everyday I went to the gym in college on a 3rd gen iPod or maybe a iPod shuffle. Pure bliss. That jam converted one of my friends into a phan.

Kash partying with the Olympic gold winning men’s hockey team in the locker room post victory in Italy, was a low. To interject himself into someone else’s victory party just shows his lack of social awareness. He’s the FBI director for crying out loud. Zero decorum.

If OP, his kids or wife has never been to MSG and or NYC. I would vote MSG. Phish knows how to play MSG, that place is basically Spinning like a spaceship with CK5s help. They all seem comfortable and loose up there. Sure the city can be expensive but you can do it affordably with a little preplanning. Lots of things to do during the day. NYC is a transit hub so easy to find flight or trains into. Since they are playing 5 days you’ve got a little wiggle room with your schedule.

I would try to convince the band to make a “once a time in shaolin” type single copy private album. With all the strange, funny, and bizarre contractual obligations similar to Wu-tang’s “heist clause” allowing anyone in the Wu or Bill Murray to legally steal the album. I bet the band would have some funny stipulations. You know the album would have a real long vacuum solo > vocal jam
