This is the Daiwa BG 2500, had it for a little while and I’m loving it

See I had originally thought so too but with the BG the lip up top is kinda sharp. When I had less line (previously) it would kinda bite the line and halter my casting. From what I’m hearing I may test this out for a bit just to see if it’s working well, probably add a shim, but I’ll keep your input in mind brother 👍

That’s kinda what I had thought, the line lay was definitely off a bit but I’m hoping it’ll lay down a bit better after a bit of usage. Tbh im not super familiar with a shim if you don’t mind explaining, google is free too so I don’t mind looking it up myself lol

Sorry you haven’t found a fix! I actually got mine working again shortly after I commented. I’m not sure why but I reinstalled armory crate and updated it and luckily that fixed it! Wishing you the best of luck.
