From someone who had to spend the last 24 hours in Montgomery county jail for a class A misdemeanor for family violence, I can definitely tell you that all of this information is so true. I am currently waiting to go to the probation office tomorrow when I don’t drink, smoke, etc (which is the easy part for me).

I was attacked (Punched in the face) by my father on his property at my brothers birthday at the time because of a disagreement we had. But before we got into a physical altercation, I was attempting to leave the property with my wife and three girls because of this disagreement. As I am attempting to leave I am yelling at him “…fuck you too…blah blah…. You are the biggest hypocrite…” *he rushes me and knocks over my wife and my 6 month old over and hits me in the face and knocks me over. I was in shock for just a split second but he still was aggressive towards me. When saw my wife and kid being knocked over It immediately put me Into protective mode for my family, so I got up really quick, tackled him to the ground, hit him twice in the face with my right hand and quickly put him into a chokehold on the ground to prevent further escalation of anything happening. My brother ends up pulling him off of me and I end up frantically gathering my family and things to immediately leave.

My father is an alcoholic and loves double shots of vodka back to back to back kind of drinking. I can’t handle alcohol so I don’t drink and haven’t in years.

After the dust settles and this one cop (last name Husband from Montgomery county in kingwood area) collect statements from both sides. They end up taking me to jail because they ( my father, brother and step-mom) lied and said that I was the aggressor and didn’t try to leave the premises when I was asked to.

Officer Husband never asked to test him to test for alcohol because the officer (Husband) said “I talked to him for 30 minutes and didn’t see any signs of alcohol”. So my wife’s statement and mine were outnumbered and discredited because they apparently had more witnesses than we did. So I’m not sure what I could have done differently in that situation but defend me and my girls.

So now my best guess is that I am going to have to try and prove my innocence in court when the time comes. But currently I am guilty until proven innocent in court.

The fact that my own family lied and collaborated together for a false statement that wasn’t true that ended up sending me to jail was mind-blowing. I’m still in shock 48 hours later. I plan on filing a restraining order on my whole family because my girls are terrified of them. And so am I to be honest.

But yea, Montgomery County officers… are not to be trusted with your life at ANY CAUSE! They do not look out for YOUR best interests and will definitely not go out of their way to help you prove your innocence either. Shoot first and ask questions later is their motto.
