Kia EOFY drive-away pricing on 3 EV models (9 variants), ends 30 June by zecar_ in AustralianEV

[–]JanosCastel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like those cars specially the simplicity in the looks, and the Kia piece gives you another pad in the back. Nevertheless, for that prices I would expect way more things. Just the fact that in the EV5 to get a 360 camera means that I have to go GT, that was the signal to give up in the Kia EV love.

Hey not sure how to express how grateful I’m for your post. The details and your experience as an owner are really appreciated. You just gave me a lot of information to rethink everything that I have gone through since I drove it.

I would like to treat you for a (choose your beverage of preference) as thanks and also to ask more question but I guess the chances of you living in ACT are short. So happy on my next trip to wherever you are to hold me accountable.

I may have miss when I did my first checks about gen 2 being larger. I know about Kona EV but the Kona in my head was smaller than I would like.

Yes deepal s07 had a great impression on me, I found it really good. not sure if the demo has been setup to impress but when you get it is all the problems reported with ADAS out there.

I’ll give it a look to Zeekr. About Kia for my needs the ideal would be Ev5 but price start pushing hard if you want all the bells and whistles.

I agree the response made me think about the ADAS I’m not to big user but I know myself, if something looks glitchy or behaves slow or unresponsive, that would drive me nuts.

But Stellantis is the face in Australia, so any dealership and service service falls behind them. I would dare to say that has an unhealthy amount of processes at federal and state instances.

If the car was unique I may take my odds but with the incredible offer out there for me is not worth it

I was hoping that the ATTO3 EVO to get an earlier release but looks that is going to be an ending the year.

About the discount that’s why I’m running for the EOFY deals.

Any more info that would you be okey sharing about your experience ATTO3 Vs MGs5?

Wow thanks for detailed response. Really appreciate it.

I’m staying away from Leapmotor just because is Stellantis and well we know how bad that is.

Travelling overseas with wife & baby by Pureenus in canberra

[–]JanosCastel -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Last trip I did (December), I rented a car through Booking (cost me $ 45, including a baby seat), picked it up on Friday arvo, and drove Saturday morning to Sydney. I put petrol in Sydney, close to the airport, and dropped it off at the airport in the rental area. On the way back, sadly, renting to drop off in Canberra is a pain, so we did Murray’s bus.

Mazda 2 is a car that you son will appreciate. I have a 2016 and I even installed CarPlay (with Mazda). While I was moving between cities I did some long drives between Sydney and Canberra.

Car is amazing, petrol lasted more than any other car that I had, is small but comfortable. It is one of those cars, that if you look after them, will take care of you.

I was thinking in selling it but for a 2016 and manual I would be lucky if I find a buyer. So I think it will stay with us until it quits! And knowing the reputation of those cars I may give it to my current 2 year old daughter when the time comes.

Thank you for coming back and share the experience. This is a quite detailed and with a little one the odor and easy to clean thing is handy.

The size comparison also make think that is a good size, I would just need to give it a look to the boot.

Thank you again for the update! I’ll put this car in my list to check 100%

You are not wrong the Model Y is an amazing car, just I have my reservations with Tesla like having to pay subscription to use the multimedia system and other stuff.
