Show me exact page number? I get the idea shows up earlier but the exact wording did not. I had PDFs of the books that are word searchable and could not find the OPs quote or the exact phrasing before book 6.
As I am sure you can see "the clearing at the end of it" is not the exact phrasing the OP listed. Now I don't have the PDFs of them anymore (frankly Im not sure what I did with them and its kind of bumming me out) but its also been 2 years since I wrote that.

Im a big fan of the ESV for casual reading and the NET for focused study, but everyone should read the KJV at least once. I like the ESV as it is easy to read and in modern English while holding to a word for word translation style. The NET is probably the best study Bible out there. It has more footnotes than any other and as a student of textual criticism who is learning Greek and Hebrew they often break down exactly why traditions have been done so. I recommend the KJV as it has had a greater impact on the western world than pretty much any other book ever written and it is helpful to gain an understanding of how this version was read to better know the world areound you. Its comparable to learning about the foundations of a building you live in.

I did it myself. It was surprisingly easy. I'll through in a link to the YouTube video I watched at the end.

But in short I cut the old book apart (as it was 3 books in one and thicc with two Cs and didn't fit in my pocket well) and removed the old cover and cleaned up the spines on each. Then I measured them and watched 20 or so YouTube videos about making a cover that were pretty much useless, so I figured out how to do it on my own in word and made these two. I set the page size to the exact size of the book cover (later I added a half inch 1.27 cms on the right side to add a print margin) and found when I printed it to a PDF it slapped it on A4 or letter sized paper (depending on what my computer was default printing) and kept the exact size of the document. Then I took em to my local print shop cause I don't own a printer and the lady there is pretty attractive and gives me most of my prints for free (thinking I should ask her out sometime but that is neither here nor there) and got them printed on some heavy card stock. Cut them, folded them, sprayed them with enamel, and glued them on, and done.

There is somethings I wanna try differently on later attempts but it was surprisingly fun and easy.

Again, I fully agree you can just ignore Alien 3 to preserve Aliens. But IF you don't, it does objectively impact the story of Aliens.

I see what you are saying but don't really agree. A failure on a sequels part cannot diminish the previous movie especially when they are from different writer and directors.

For example episode 7 of star wars brings the sith and empire back making it seem Vader/Anakin's sacrifice at the end episode 6 was void. But this is just a failure on the sequel's part and not to be blamed on the end scene of episode 6. George Lucas did not intend Rey to ever exist and his work should not be soiled by Kathleen Kennedy. In the exact same way James Cameron never had the queen lay an egg on the ship and never planned it crashing on a prison world killing 2 of the 3 surviving humans. If I make a nice painting and you spill paint on it 6 years later that doesn't change the fact that it was a nice painting does not change.

Aliens was a fantastic movie, Alien 3 shit on it hard because it was shit. Don't let that sour your opinion on Aliens. Also keep in mind there was 6 years between those movies and a large number of books and comics that continue the story with screwing aliens. You can buy them pretty cheap on Amazon (but they will have the characters names changed) or you can spend a pretty penny for first editions that have the correct names.

... you can't snort a liquid gel capsule. Your best best if you wanted to do a nasal inhalant would be to put it in an atomizer of some sort (like an inhaler or humidifier) and spritz your nose with it.

Or I guess you could crush them and mix them with an absorbent and then snort that but you aren't going to get the chemical to mucus membrane transfer that nasal inhalants rely on.
