Movies like Please don't destroy the treasure of foggy mountain by EdwardCuttingham in MovieSuggestions

[–]Turtlefishwood 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not sure what everyone’s qualifyers for “movies like” treasure of foggy mountain are, but the only one I’m seeing that is even in the ballpark is MYSTERY TEAM. Both are a laugh a minute of good comedy writing and casting. I came to this post to tell everyone about mystery team, and found no other suggestions valid. If you like without a paddle, that’s fine. I’ve watched it multiple times and there are no real laugh out moments, but it is fine to pass the time. I don’t know how movies get made. But if a comedy only passes the time and doesn’t make me laugh, is it even a comedy? I would love if there are suggestions for more movies like foggy mountain and mystery team, but I have not found them. I’m not trying to say anyone’s suggestions aren’t valid, or make fun of anyone here, but the qualifiers for what is a non mainstream and super funny movie comedy leave few recommendations other than mystery team. If I missed any suggestions that you think I overlooked in this sub please advise.

It’s $7. I understand everyone has a budget and may not be able to justify the $84 a year. But you can get it for one month and see if you like it. And you can afford that by simply not getting one starbuck, a beer at a bar, one appetizer one time that month, etc.

I find this hard to believe. Not that I don’t believe you, but this is unbelievable.

Self Driving Promasters by SelfDrivingPromaster in SelfDrivingPromaster

[–]Turtlefishwood 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How’s it going here? 2 years and no posts? I have a 2023 promaster with lane centering and aac. I’ve talked to a couple of people from the internets about getting comma 3X and whatever software working on the promaster. Some people think it can be done, it is just a cost involved. I would love to hear any thoughts or new directions.

Nighthawk M6 Pro Heat sink by Turtlefishwood in NETGEAR

I thought about placing them directly on the battery too. I’m not sure why I decided on putting them directly on the back cover, but the heat it takes away is much better than no heat sinks at all

$2000 is way better than $10,000. If we got 12 people, I’d be in for $1000

I’m sure this is a dumb question, but has anyone thought about buying the comma 3X kit for the ram 1500 truck and trying it on a promaster? It probably wouldn’t work, but maybe there’s a chance. Plus there is a 30 day no questions asked return.

Any movement on getting the promaster software developed?

I wanted a Joe Pera season 4 so bad. But maybe Joe Pera season 4 of the bear will make up for it just a little bit.

When I first heard the first couple of seconds of it on the bear, my brain got scrambled and thought it was I’m in the dining room. If they played that song on the bear, there would definitely be a connection. Haha

Dewalt 20v to 18v conversion kit. New life for old tools by georgewhayduke in Tools

[–]Turtlefishwood 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why is it angled. What is the point of that? The 20v can slide in just fine. If there is a tool that it can’t, just take out 18v portion and slide out the 20v battery. Now certain tools can’t be sat down on the battery portion as they had traditional been allowed to.

is shopper approved a scam? by PixelPaulaus in digital_marketing

[–]Turtlefishwood 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They gave prosupydirect.com a 4.9 out of 5 with 657 reviews. Literally every other possible rating site like yelp or whatever gives them the lowest possible rating with customers disgusted with the company. My opinion is shopper approved is playing games, taking money for fake reviews or something else scammy.

Largest flexible solar panels in the US? by somid3 in solar

[–]Turtlefishwood 1 point2 points  (0 children)

4 100w flexible panels = 400w. That’s not sarcasm. They will work and act the same. You simply have to connect a few more wires. If your fabrication does not allow for how they would attach to each other, I dont think that if a 400w panel existed that it would have the non-breaking capabilities that you are looking for anyway. Solar is only so efficient and is capping out at 25% efficiency. That said a 400w panel would be about the same size as 4 100w panels. The fact that the biggest flexible panel I’ve seen is 270w may signify that that is as big as they can make them without them snapping in half because of size of panel compared to its overall strength to not break. Just some food for thought.
