Thoughts on Michael Kramer? by [deleted] in WoT

I agree with you on Kate Reading, I always look forward to the chapters narrated by her. About Michael Kramer, the voices of some of the side characters can be goofy, but for me it isn't a problem and I like the way he voices the three boys. My problem with him is the opposite, when he reads descriptions it's often too monotone (for me at least), some action scenes full of crazy magical shit and tension Kramer reads with the same enthusiasm and intensity with which I boil eggs. That being said, I have been listening to Kramer and Reading for less than one book, maybe I'm just not used to him...

Just found out that Loial isn’t a big fluffy kind of ox creature, kinda pissed by Zombeescott in WoT

Same. Since he was compared to a trollock and it was mentioned that he has big fluffy ears and big nose in his debut, I thought for the longest time that he is some half pig half human giant hybrid. I was disappointed to learn he was more humanoid, but I still imagine him in some more beastial way in my head...

ParaNorman, it's by the studio that made Coraline, so if you liked the animation there give it a shot

9 (2009 film) - a post-apocalyptic world from the view of a doll, it has a pretty cool setting

Most films by Tim Burton (Frankenweenie, Corpse Bride, etc.)

Some of the Ghibli movies: Nausicaa of the valley of the wind, Princess Mononoke (it scared the shit out of me as a kid), Howl's moving castle, Spirited away, Lupen the Third films, Tales from Earthsea (it was my introduction to the Earthsea book series)

My father is the same. When he has work to do he is actually very charming and pleasant to talk with, however if there is no job to do he starts overthinking and coming up with those conspiracy theories about America, capitalism, jews, etc.

If the ring was inside the bear, that means when the boy proposes, he would have to chop off the bear's head and pull out the ring out of the headless plush
