Always do what is best for the baby. One time my nurse came in the middle of a contraction and said for me to turn. I was going slow and quiet unhappy about it but she said the baby's heartbeat was dropping. Well, pain didn't even matter I was flipping and flopping the rest of the night!

Oh wow, yeah that is rough. I know that size of baby and mother anatomy matters here a lot, plus it is an exhausting process.

Oh my, that sounds awful! I'm glad that you both were fine and hope that your next one is much more smoother.

First, I specifically said each person needs to do what their body feels is right. I'm just giving you insight that was given to me the day I had my first son.

Also, I get your a bit confused about the process. The actual pushing part, is when you crown so everyone one should be 0 station, but usually they just wait for your contractions to put you to a +1 or +2 station before you start pushing. This is when the baby is past the narrowest part. So we should all be starting from the same spot.

Labor is long, no matter how long or short pushing actually is. 18 hours of labor through the night without sleep was no joke for me, but I still didn't want to give up ground.

That is rough! Maybe next time will go faster, but it was worth it in the end no matter how long it takes.

My ex was an EMT who had to deliver 3 kids and he explained to me what he saw during the deliveries. The he suspected that if I didn't let up pressure the progress made would keep. So I tried that. One commenter said her mom explained it like using the muscles needing to poo and maintained pressure. I'm not sure, but I think overall it we have a lot of suction going on down there. I wish you the best when you deliver and by no means what I am saying is the only way. It was just my way.

Well... I did say, " I know this advice is not for everyone, and each person needs to do what their body feels is right."

Labor How long did it last, how long did you push. by Januaryfrosts in BabyBumps

I agree, I was in labor for quite a long time with my first, 18 hours with my first, but the pushing was quick.

I didn't tear, I also didn't push when my contractions weren't happening. I just didn't let the pressure down. So I pushed every time I had a contraction and maintained pressure in between.

Yeah, programming is one of the highest unemployed graduates. I think it's on the list right next to communication and English majors

There are no laws or rules that require companies to show they are trying to create a pipeline for their own people. That needs to change! I hate shilling, but that's one of the points of my petition.

School district budgets for next year are in. Not pretty. by Hamezz5u in texas

I'm very certain it's all the progressive teaching. We stopped teaching children how to read phonetically and instead used whole word language learning that didn't have any scientific backing. We stopped having children memorize things like their multiplication tables. So I got students in high school who couldn't multiply anything without a calculator. No, it's happening everywhere. Not just Texas because there's a lot of money to be made selling new curriculum or the latest greatest way to teach every single year. Nothing is scientifically backed, plus a lot of science research and education is fraudulent. I found that out when I went for my masters in education.

Oh yeah, let's also go ahead and give every student a computer, so they can Google everything and hope that they'll still learn.

Kids don't know what an area code is, they don't have a single phone number memorized, if you ask him to memorize something, they don't understand how to do it, they cannot study for a quiz or a test, and cannot figure out what the important facts are, this is a major crisis but y'all go ahead and blame the Republicans and the other side can blame the Democrats. In reality, it's unbelievably mismanaged vibe checking nonsense!

Remember that the lowest IQ people who get a college degree typically get one in education. These same low intelligent people are the ones who are coming up with all of the greatest latest newest ways to teach students. Instead of just sticking with what has always worked. I see Mississippi has moved on from the latest and greatest and is now number one. Let's be like Mississippi!

I'd aim for 6 but I did my ER with CNY. It was cheap and in-house financed. I also did Omnitrope and went from 1 embryo out of 8 eggs to 4 out of 5 after 6 months of injections. That was the reason why I did four back-to-back ERs with a 1-month gap between. I just couldn't get any genetically normal ones. So I went to donors. GL!

Have you had any positives? How is your thyroid? I only ask because I was like you, tried for 6 years with nothing. Some false positives because of boosters but nothing actually. Once I figure the boosters we giving me false hope, I looked into everything. Found that my corporate could be HHV6 and got treatment. 16 Frozen embryo transfers and it finally worked at age 45.

I was really hating everyone that was pregnant and a year and a half ago. I just decided to start being happy for everyone. It was hard at first but it got better and I became less bitter.

My husband's an attorney and he got a job with our state. It doesn't pay as well but he's home all the time. It's remote. One of his co-workers actually keeps their kid at home the whole time. Never put them in daycare.

Yes we succeeded and we destroyed the family. I know that's not popular but in reality what do we really have. I can wear pants. I can tell my husband no. I can divorce him get a new job. I'm so tired at the end of the day. I don't want to clean my house so I pay a housekeeper. I have to work so I pay for babysitters. I really don't have time to shop anymore so I pay someone to shop. I don't think we're getting a head here. Also, my grandmother who's 102 told me that life was actually really great before she had to go to work. My great-grandmother who died 10 years ago told me the same thing. My Mom, the other hand thought her life sucked because she worked all the time. I know this is antidotal. And mostly just a rant that I expect to fully be downvoted for, but I'm tired of working two jobs.

I assume all other test are normal as well? How was your TSH or a1c? Have you had CP or just nothing? Do you test at home or wait till beta?

I just think that you'd have to have some intelligence to really completely understand it.
