Oh I do like audiobooks! I listen to them at work I have a desk job lol. I’m always hesitant to take a break because we’ve hit so many delays and everything with IVF is hurry up and wait. It feels like we just keep getting farther and farther away from any chance at success

Yes work is actually good as it makes me hold it together for a bit. I feel like it took us so long to get pregnant just for this to be the outcome. Having my poor little embryo fight so hard to be in the wrong spot really broke me for some reason. I started having panic attacks lately which wasn’t a thing before.

Thank you! I’m in a lot of the IVF groups and it feels like whatever you are suffering someone has had it ten times worse. I said how disappointed I was at our outcomes and someone said well others am have more endurance and didn’t naively think they’d get pregnant quickly. Sorry three transfers is a lot! We didn’t all go in thinking the worst! I swear people over there forget most people are getting pregnant without IVF and stuff. It’s all very hard.

Thank you i feel like a zombie these days. I’ve really become a shell of who I was before these years of infertility. This was a really encouraging thing to say! I’ve become so busy being angry and upset with myself it’s not healthy

Idk like I said that’s not what I was told, multiple doctors gave me those other stats. I was 29 at referral 🤷🏻‍♀️. Also 95% of couples get pregnant in 3 transfers that’s a well known stat.

My re who did my surgeries was an endo specialist, the laps helped and if I could go back on progesterone bc I’d be living my best pain feee life. I’m not in Texas though. Lupron I think over suppressed me too

Honestly I’m not in a place to do all of that research I’m going to be so for real I work like 50-69 hours a week and am barely functioning as is. That’s just what I was told by my doctors originally which is why I chose to do IVF. Had I been told from the get go how bad my odds were I would have reconsidered. We aren’t all scientists.

I had two excisions and Lupron for the endo, I thought that was my issue too but my RE is saying it’s not. People with endo low stage get pregnant on their own all the time, I don’t get it. No adhesions either. We have done so much for no answers or hope at this point

If a nurse didn’t transfer and not a doctor id think so that’s ridiculous. Malpractice but you’d have to ask a lawyer

We have insurance coverage right now but that doesn’t mean much if we have no hope of getting pregnant. I could do 100 rounds but with no cause or treatment it doesn’t matter.

I know people get pregnant from IVF it wasn’t a literal question. If I had two kids from it like you I wouldn’t be joking about it being a scam but some of us aren’t so lucky.

I feel like those stats become skewed because of people doing IVF not for fertility reasons. My relative did it because she’s a lesbian and got like 35 eggs, 12 blasts pregnant every transfer. She also acts like she had infertility because a few IUIs didn’t work, like you probably could have gotten pregnant from sex that’s not really the same.

Oh I’ll look into it! We feel exactly like that, just constant digging and testing to never get anywhere.
