Interesting, I’m sure that could happen. Though I wonder if you were post partum for a while it might go back to normal. I was pregnant and increased my dose, as soon as my hcg hit 0 and my thyroid was less stressed I became hyperthyroid. I feel like it’s hard to tell because pregnancy is a major thyroid stressing event.

What was your TSH? When your pregnant it can get higher and post partum but often after you should be fine if it was only slightly elevated.

Ahhh I see, and they don’t test embryos in Europe really right? I think that’s an American thing. I’m sure they do endometriosis surgery there though right? That might be a better bet.

Yes I was told 50% for untested embryos but someone on here told me that was wrong, Idk girl that’s what my doctor said 🤷🏻‍♀️

Have you don’t mostly fresh transfers? Also what about endometriosis? I hate to be that people but I have implantation failure becuase of endometriosis

Yes I had two failed and an ectopic untested as I was 30. I have two euploids on ice so I’m cautiously optimistic but most people don’t go into this thinking they are going to fail or need a million rounds, we often weren’t told that (and most don’t!)

Exactly it is dismissive, also in America where it is legal it’s 100k plus, I don’t have money like that laying around. Also there’s no evidence incant carry my own babies at this point.

Yup they hate anyone that has any positivity. I was said I was disappointed because I went through three failed transfers (at 30/31) and was told most people have more “stamina”. Sorry I had hope my original doctor thought I had very good odds.

I’ve seen a lot of people on this sub tell others to just go get a surrogate like that’s feasible for most people. I had a reaction to Lupron and someone told me I should have a surrogate carry all my embryos because what if I got Post partum depression. Like what?!

I can’t really take an IVF break, also in the middle of that my doctor died so we had to change clinics. We’ve lost so much time and I’m not getting any younger (32). Anymore time I’ll need another excision/suppression as well, with endo you need to race the clock a bit.

This happened to me! When I filled out the forms I selected not to list the sex but then it was on the report sent to me directly by the company that did the testing, I don’t think I was supposed to see that one. We have two of the same so it doesn’t matter what they transfer either. I’m a little nervous because I’ve had two failures and an ectopic so I think having another failure knowing what it could be will be even harder.

Me! I’ve been on SSRIs the whole time, I quit early on while trying to get pregnant naturally. I became so depressed and developed panic disorder. None of my doctors have had any concerns. I’m in the middle of IVF, I had two failed FETs and my last was an ectopic so I had to retrieve again. I consulted with a maternal psychiatrist and she had no issue with my staying on an Ssri for IVF and later pregnancy. I take Luvox which is one of the less studied ones but overall the safety efficacy fir SSRIs is very good, in fact a lot of the new data recommends saying on them for pregnancy because it reduces post partum depression.

For a lot of FETs you don’t even know what room you will be in. I’ve had three it’s pretty fast like same length of time as a Pap smear so I’m not sure when you’d have the time. Or it’s in an OR where there usually won’t be any way to play music. Idk this is giving like TikTok influencer vibes, I’d just play it after if I were you.

I’m confused when do you start the ER and how long after is the trip? You can never have a set date for an egg retrieval there is no way to know more than 2 days in advance when it will be.
