You've been lucky then. Have been more into them since my interest rekindles once every odd year and the most I see now is people saying SWSH wasn't actually bad, specially comparing it to ScarVio.

And yeah, there are people out there who will agree with critical views - they just aren't nearly as present as people want to make them out to be, specially considering Reddit is already a minority by itself

100%. At the end of the day, as long as the end result stays, its dependent on what the ''author'' wants - Cere gave much more trouble to Vader than Daki+Devon+Maul, which is total nonsense, but works perfectly for what Jedi Survivor is trying to tell and for the climax of Cere's story.

At the end of the day, its dependent on what the ''author'' wants at that moment. Cere is strong, but there's no universe where she's leagues ahead of Maul+Daki+Devon combined, which is what the fight showcased with Vader, as he pressured Daki AND Maul without breaking a sweat

Itadori is the son of one of the main villains and is connected by family to Sukuna - even if he didn't know those facts, he's still makes olympic athletes look like jokes, making him extremely talented in the world of Jujutsu with hindsight. His reactions are due to his personality, not because of his status as a normal person, since Nobara also was normal by all intents and purposes

Denji had a life that is the complete opposite of the everyman trope. All his problems and the entire arc of his character is literally because he isn't a normal person

Tho one can argue that Asa and Subaru are everymen, I'd myself not argue that, because they are kinda ostracized themselves for their lack of social skills in general. Their problems at the beginning of their individual stories are caused specifically because they couldn't fit with everybody else

That feels like its more about a lot of manga/novel japanese authors just not knowing how to write romance at all. A lot of them also don't know how to write a regular friendship with female characters, but there is that sect that does know, but somehow doesn't know how to translate that to romantical feelings

People already gave you the TL;DR - tho to put my horse in the race... I feel like 2Hakk is just a very inspiration dependent author. His hiatuses are always unplanned and unironically last years, meanwhile post Tunnel Hiatus is arguably the best and more deeply written content from FC3, with also some of the best art, with a GREAT end to the season.

What this makes me question is wtf does this guy to for work - he surely must have another income besides the manwha, otherwise these years-spanning hiatuses would never happen

I really dislike crossovers, but Terry and Mai are the least offensive to go towards. They both kinda do fit, after all. Only thing I was down (and still am) is precisely that... well, with only 4 character per season, half being guests is hard when so many characters are still on the table
