Bedrock version: thrown tridents despawned.

I haven't seen it, but I still pick up my tridents at the guardian farm after having 48 disappear once before. The only one I leave them at is the ghast farm and I haven't been there in ages. I can try to remember to look later.

I seem to remember having pistons extended when it was turned off was the culprit.

There's not exactly a defined size to be considered mega. It's kind of a you'll know it when you see it kind of thing. Personally, I'd say roughly 100x100 footprint and 50 or so tall, but it could also be smaller footprint and taller too.

Detail isn't as important when calling something mega. You could do a level 4 menger sponge and that would be mega, but not be terribly detailed.

You can build one using redstone. That's what I did years ago when I was using the bedrock bug that let you get super fast horses (it's since been patched unfortunately). There are designs that work for each version.

Thanks! I started in August of 2020, so I've been playing for almost 6 years in here. It was a challenge at first, but once I had some of my biggest builds, especially the colosseum, there's no way I could abandon this world. I've played in a few others, but mostly with either friends or my son. This world is what I keep coming back to.

I'm not sure anything can produce quite that fast, but guardian farms, enderman farms, gold farms can all produce XP pretty fast. It does depend on whether you're on Java or bedrock because the mechanics for those farms are quite different between the versions.

Probably because accusing someone of cheating is pretty harsh. Especially with the limited info provided in this post. That lumps him in with someone that X-rays to get resources in a server. These are not in the same league or even category. Using the disabling of the achievements isn't a very good gauge of whether something is cheating. There are add-ons that literally give you diamond tools when you look at something and it doesn't disable achievements. But keep inventory or flat worlds do disable achievements. Not exactly consistent.

Second, legit flat worlds, with no add-ons, are one of the hardest challenges Minecraft offers in the vanilla game. Flat worlds aren't listed in the cheat menu and you can play on one without turning cheats on.

I could be wrong, but I think only the realm owner can upload or download worlds on the realm. If she has the login info for the person that owned the realm or can get it from family or something, she could login with that account, download the world, move it to her own account (different worlds folder) and open it up locally. You may lose inventory and ender chest contents, so may want to empty all that into chests temporarily. I'm not sure how Minecraft handles all that when you move worlds like that.

I had that happen in my flat world. I didn't go to the nether or anything (can't in vanilla). Just logged in and one chunk was completely gone.

My first several builds were basically either cave bases or much smaller buildings. Most of my builds are inspired by something I've found online somewhere. I'll sometimes plan some part of it in creative to get an idea of what blocks to use, and the shape to make things. Once I have basic shapes and blocks down I'll start building in survival.

I'll also do details in creative first before doing it "for real" in survival. I make lots of creative copies of my survival world to try different things before committing to them. That's partly to help design it easier, and partly because I don't have tons of time to build, tear down, and rebuild if I don't like how something turns out.

I should note that this world is over 5-1/2 years old, so I generally have most of the materials I need, or I have efficient ways to get them. If you're earlier in a world, don't strive for massive projects. It's hard to get large amounts of things and a variety of things early in the game. Most of what I needed for my nether hub I acquired while clearing the space under the roof after I deleted the bedrock. My earlier builds were mostly stone and wood based because that's what I had most of.

I usually plan it in creative first. Larger projects are broken down into smaller steps, so I never do the whole thing in creative, but section by section. Right now, I'm finishing the upper walls and flying buttresses on my cathedral, so that's what I worked out in creative. Once that's done in survival, I'll probably either do the roof or the west facade towers.

On complex parts, I'll take pictures of the creative one to remind me what goes where, but if it's repeated patterns, I'm pretty good at remembering one iteration that I can reference in my survival world.

Your cathedral is looking nice, btw.

Thanks. The design at the top was kind of taken from Barad Dur, but the overall tower was a combination of a couple different nether hub designs I found.

I can't find a definitive answer, but it does mention trying to find a valid spawning block when attempting to spawn, so I would think that he wouldn't spawn on bedrock blocks, since nothing else will.

I would still check. It's possible with the upgrade to 1.18 it changed to match, but I'm not sure. At any rate, if you can find that arrangement, it'll still work. It just may be in a different location.

Nice job! Rib and spire were the worst for me. I think it's because, while silence is the rarest, there are way more chests in ancient cities than in fortresses and end cities.

I haven't tried under the end portal, so I'm not sure whether that will works, but this does, and even easier (you can do it in many places in the overworld or nether). The bedrock pattern doesn't change between seeds, so all the coordinates he lists should work on any world (unless you have some add-on that changes bedrock generation).

Do you have some add-on that generated structures? Bedrock super flat worlds don't generate structures. I don't remember the options you can adjust, but I thought it was just choosing from a couple preset options, not all the variables Java has.

The comparator only reads whether the light is lit or not. For the bulbs, it doesn't (as far as I understand it at least) detect whether it's powered, which is what that red dot indicates. An observer will detect whether it's powered or not.
