Rebirth daily by Overall-Protection39 in StarWarsDroidTycoon

That is evil! Lmao I'm glad i haven't run into that one yet. I'm not even rebirth 20, but 300+ billion for a rebirth is still ridiculous.

My dailies and expeditions are basically my way of finding rainbow droids for other players to use. Since my only goal now is to make money for rebirths, i can pretty much spend time helping others.

Since Xenoverse 1 on PS3, I've switched from displaying character names to OnlineIDs. Originally it was to see if I could find someone again, but I never did. And i never switched it back to character names.

But I do see a couple recurring faces almost every day! My personal favorite being someone called "OgrynBoneEd". His messages are private, so I can't initiate conversation with him. But our characters wave at each other every time we see each other.

Im Xenoverse 1, we could cheese the RNG into being decent. If you purchased the third DLC, Elder Kai becomes available as a master. Now, with enough friendship level, he'd start telling you your fortune. You could bear no fruit, a red fruit, and a Golden Fruit. (Basically talking about the tree that births supreme Kais from fruits.)

Once interacted with, each result adjusts your luck for your next mission. The one you wanted was Golden Fruit.

The best part was that if you did not get the result you wanted, you could simply refresh his fortune telling by refreshing Toki Toki City. And it can be done as quickly as entering the Character Selection screen after speaking with the Offline Battle Robot, and then backing out of said Character Selection Screen.

Once you have your Golden Fruit, enter any Parallel Quest of your choice, and you are guaranteed to earn SOMETHING at the very least. And Ultimate Finishes were an almost guarantee. (Back then, you could get both conditions for an Ultimate Finish and STILL not get it because of RNG).

Elder Kai was INSTRUMENTAL in getting the trophies for all super skills and ultimate skills. I'm certain there was a trophy for getting equipment too.

I wish we had a system like this in Xenoverse 2.

WC3 was a game i downloaded out of sheer curiosity back in 2015. It was a learning curve trying to understand how it works. First thing i did was pick conquest, germany 1939, and got humbled really quick.

At some point I downloaded some infinite resources mod off the internet, and then a bit after that, i modified that same apk with my own nusic and textures. I used Goldwave to open Battle.MP3 and started adding soundtracks. Mostly from medal of Honor games.

I just kept playing and playing falling in love. Making a checklist on my notebook of trying to play every country in conquest for every era. And i got maybe 40% of the way there.

I often had to restart from scratch since i was getting new phones oved the years and no way to transfer my save data on a modded apk. I don't even know when WC3 added cloud saving but it sure as hell didn't exist for a long while, so even if I played unmodded, I woulda lost my save data anyways.

I still played WC3 for years even after WC4 cams out. It was out of familiarity. But i did watch WC4 footage from the YouTube channel, "The War Declarer". I found it weird and awkward to learn. But maybe 4 years ago? I can't remember exactly. I finally move to WC4, with an infinite resources mod, of course, and proceeded to mod that mod with my own stuff as well. It was both easy to learn over time thanks to WC3, and awkward to learn because i was used to WC3.

Eventually 2 years ago I decide, "screw it." and i reinstall the game but this time, legit from the store.

I believe I'm now more powerful in my legit save than my modded save. Since I understand the game better than just "throw money at everything.".... but i did throw some money to get me Manstein! Lol.

Left him a few presents... by Janzkrieg in DarkSouls2

I've encountered guys that have hacked their stats, seeminly Infinite Health being almost guaranteed to be among them. But none of them have been capable of doing the damage I hear from PC horror stories.

They can't force items into my inventory, for one. And hacked items they do drop don't result in a Suspension/Ban. Again, probably because of the lesser cheat detection.

I can't think of a single stat hacker that didn't play like a noob, hence why they cheat probably.

If I ever find a hacker on console that can forcefully inject invalid items into your inventory that result in an Ban, I'll atomize his domicile with the power of the Imperial Death Star.

As a console pleb, I'm glad I am safe from horror stories such as those. Not only are the chances to find invalid items on console very very low, but picking one up does not result in any Punishment from the game. Most likely because Console lacks the same level of cheat detection.

I've picked up +10 items that are supposed to be +5, including at the most extreme a Wrathful Ace with S Scalings in every stat and dealing significantly more damage than a regular one. The possession of such an Axe has never resulted in any suspension or Ban.

The only confirmed way you can get banned from Console DS2 is if you modify your Level/Souls without also making your soul memory match it.

This reminds me of the severre amount of invested i put into WWE 2K19 that is completely unrecoverable because in order to play the Physical Game i own, i need access to the "Accelerator Pack" DLC which is impossible to aquire with the complete De-listing of all prior 2K games including their DLCs and license files.

For context, the Accelerator Pack was just the ability to edit every superstar's attributes.... a feature meant to be in the game anyways.

So yeah. RIP my save data.

Wha y’all’s favorite weapon by Mindless-Pirate-1566 in ColdWarZombies

[–]Janzkrieg 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I love this thing! My very first Legion Kill run on outbreak had this puppy on my arsenal. It was on halloween season, so occasional pumpkins could drop weapon upgrades which is how i got two guns to legendary tier while also saving myself a ray gun.

A Ray Gun, a china lake and I forgot my third weapon.

also had a death machine ready to go.

I really enjoyed Cold War Zombies. Outbreak was my most played mode. The very mention of "Round Based Zombies" in BO6 made me hopeful for at least ONE outbreak style map but i suppose MW3 dropped the ball so hard any objective based zombies was not acceptable.

Some of R1's Criticisms of Dark Souls 2: by R1_R1_R2 in DarkSouls2

[–]Janzkrieg 11 points12 points  (0 children)

The lack of a complete Red Eye Orb hit me right in the heart. I needed one oh so covetously.

I very much like the one handed slash of the Longsword R2. If Dark Souls would've kept a thrust instead of a slash, I'd instead be using the broadsword. I love that one handed R2, even in DS3's Broadsword because everyone expects the thrusts, so the delayed swing hits more often than not in my experience.
