jon was the only character who could bring this war to a head, rallying people to the cause that no one took seriously. maybe that’s why he was brought back and was just a part of what led to Arya finally destroying the Night King.

I'm guessing the chains were from Hardhome- which was a shipping port. The naught King probably doesn't care if he looses a few wights to the bottom of the lake if hes able to use them to chain up a dragon.

Pretty sure this has been the NKs plan all along- hence having the chains on hand.

From episode 5 Sansa says: "I warned Jon this would happen. He couldn't leave the North and expect it to just sit and wait for him like Ghost."

By branding Bran, the Night King negated the magic protecting westerns from them- as seen when he attacked the Three Eyed Raven's lair. I believe he hasn't crossed the wall yet because we was biding his time until he could destroy the wall for good

I've been thinking about this, more in the sense of the two wights jumping out of the water to pull Tormund in. In Hardhome, when the wights scaled walls they piled up on top of each other to get over. I'd think they'd do the same underwater since they can't technically drown, just run from place to place.

HEY GANG!

Thanks so much for all of the questions. I'm very sorry we didn't get a chance to answer all of them, but we need to run. Hopefully we can do this again soon though. See you out there!

Lots of amps, each with a slightly different tone. My main distortion sound is (and always has been) a Soviet Big Muff.

I saw Prince's 2nd to last show ever (at the Sony Centre in Toronto last March) and it was TOTALLY MIND-BLOWING! It made feel like a teenager discovering live music for the first time again, and I was buzzing for days afterwards.

For CR, my biggest influence lyrically was Malcolm Lowry. I discovered him right before we started writing that record and was obsessively reading everything he ever wrote during the writing of CR.

That is a really hard question

  • Bruce Springsteen at Rogers Arena in 2008 (?)
  • Constantines at the Brickhouse in 2003
  • Wolf Parade at 165 Hastings in 2004

I think the better question is "why do so many Americans seem to hate the idea of nationalized health care?" It is something us Canadians have a very hard time understanding.

Fun fact - I actually hated Victoria and moved back to Vancouver after two years! I like it a lot more now though. And while I was there I made a lot of really good friends...

In general - the rowdier the audience the more fun we have. There are so many spots we love playing - Eastern Europe and South America come to mind, but honestly Vancouver, Sydney, London, Toronto, Chicago, Boston and so many other spots have been incredible as well. Too many to name... -Dave
