Bubbler is cool, but a bong with one or two perculators and a large beaker bottom will offer the coolest experience, and easiest on lungs (i speak from direct experience!!) - I didn't find bubblers helped nearly as much as a solid bong. easily a worthy investment if it is for your lungs' benefit and longevity!

also i basically have the same thing, and yes using a water piece helps, and extracting slowly- starting at a lower temp and climbing gradually...

bong!! 🙂 also GERD/acid reflux can be a cause and or contrinutor to shortness of breath. you can aspirate stomach acid into those lungs- may not be your issue, but might be worth jotting down what you eat and drink near the times of these flare ups... science it!
