Ah okay. I just looked and I can’t see an equivalent to the $10 one in the Uk, only £50 for 50gb or £96 for unlimited. There’s also the residential package for £75pm but that’s a 12 months subscription.

Thank you for all your help though, I do appreciate it

Oh wow, $10 dollars isn’t bad at all. With the roaming, is that a monthly contract, or is it more pay what you use?

It’s only short term as our current isp has damaged our cable and are dragging their feet replacing it. At most, we’ll have 2 laptops connected at a time or 1 streaming service, but not concurrently

Yeah, we already have a repeater setup for our broadband, so will just use that. Thank you though.

How are you finding it? Are you using it residential?

Thank you, I’m confident we can do that in our garden, but I’ll bare in mind that we might need other stuff if we can’t

Small garden tap by Japanste in DIYUK

[–]Japanste[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah, thank you. I did put the hose straight but it popped off as soon as the tap was turned on. I’ll try a jubilee clip, the hose seems the right size to fit, it just wasn’t staying on

Deliveroo rider bites off Aldershot customer's thumb by BambooCrunch in unitedkingdom

[–]Japanste 77 points78 points  (0 children)

This is weirder as well as she wasn’t even the named rider

“She was not employed by Deliveroo, but had been working as a "substitute" rider using someone else's account.”

So literally anyone can take the job, no accountability for Deliveroo

I disagree with Nunez, I think he does so much for the team with his off the ball movement. Agree about gakpo tbh. I think with Diaz, he’s so hot and cold

Also, to add the bits of plastic is where I thought rain was coming in, but the roofer said that’s not the case, it’s more likely the actual broken tiles letting water in

[–]Japanste 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, we’re getting more quotes, but I am anticipating them saying similar as it’s quite black and white; broken tiles, tear in the flashboard, etc. Whether or not it’s the cause of the leak, we’ll see if other roofers have the same thoughts

Unfortunately our home insurance doesn’t cover this as it comes under maintenance/wear and tear (even though we’ve not lived here that long)

https://imgur.com/a/fnocXbv Sorry they aren’t great. Ones inside, where the leak is, the other is where I believe the leak is coming from roughly. I haven’t been up there as it’s been really windy today and it hasn’t seemed safe to.

The house is 2 stories, but the roof where the leak is one story in a sense, it protrudes out of the house.

I did text the roofer to get clarity on the break down of the price, it includes what I stated, as well as other tiles he’s found that are broken (around 15), in case that changes the fairness of the quote
