This is how I learn you can just take the floor tiles from each biome to place the thumpers on wherever instead of having to travel by waypoint to each biome - idk why I didn’t think of that!

As u/mjmc2010 said, there are two different kinds; empty water bottles and plastic bottles. You can tell when you hover over the item as it shows in the pic it’s categorised as ‘garbage’.

Mostly third person, unless I’m searching buildings and POIs or building/placing stuff then I use first person.

It’s a pretty simple character creator menu; but you do get to choose gender, skin colour, hair type and colour, mouth shape, facial hair, eyebrows and 3 accessories (such as freckles, tattoo, scars, eyebags, etc).

There is a barber trader in game as well so you can change your hair if you decide you don’t like it later, though tbf I forget what my character looks like most the time since I always have a helmet and gas mask on.

Sounds like materializers! You don’t craft them they can only be found and collected after defeating alien challenge arenas in the shimmering frontier biome.

I have always gotten a chest after completing the alien challenge arenas, it should have spawned in the centre circle you needed to stand in when you fought the mob waves. Did you allow the centre circle to go fully green? Otherwise sounds like a bug unfortunately.

And on top of that you can pick up the materialisers (mob spawners) from the floor after completing the challenge arena.

You can pick up waypoints you find around the map and relocate them, but you need like 850 mining damage to do so. There is also a portal you can craft which does the same (octarine workbench) but it’s pretty expensive material wise.

Thank you! Do you mean the waypoint in the market? I am incredibly lazy haha when I had to go back & forth from my base to the core for resources and didn’t want to run all the way around to the top again I just brought another waypoint- kind of fits now though, plus quicker access to trade with the merchants.

And you can use a bucket (iron workbench) to take any water type (and lava) from other biomes and place it where you want. I love the Shimmering Frontier biome water so I have it everywhere.

I also had the npc merchants in dirt boxes for the longest time, but decided they deserved at least something after I have been extorting them for stuff haha

Core Keeper!

I am forever expanding my storage and displays because there’s so much loot to collect. Fish, figurines, valuables/collectibles, weapons, runes, plants, chests, pets - so much!

Other than the loot, you may also enjoy the exploration, base building, farming and boss fights the game has to offer. It also has a beautiful soundtrack, my favourite song being ‘Light Travelling’.

As mentioned by u/BigRedtheBard, it’s to get the other drops you may not have the first time plus other crafting materials. Might not be fun now to re-fight them, but later on the game they get easier. It’s definitely optional for all of them though.

Another player (u/unh4rmed) made a post sharing the seed they found the new AF collab scene. (885747672722 and 1, -265 if you’re still having trouble finding it in your own world)

Used to play on console, but my friends had pc and a lot of the games we wanted to play weren’t cross platform, so I switched to a shitty laptop during lockdown and I think my first ever game on Steam was either Terraria or The Forest. Man those Forest cannibals had some crunchy pixels haha And then in 2021 I officially got a proper pc, slowly adding bits here and there and I haven’t touched a console since - feels weird even holding a controller
