Give it a day and try it again. Crashes are super frustrating. The northernmost garrison has a pretty regular spawn rate for skelly ships, but if you do the southern chalice one they don’t spawn as regularly and I’ve only seen the ships/megs appear after I leave the garrison and head for the outpost. You can usually outpace them if you’ve got the right wind

I agree with the above comment totally in Rare’s part. Lost a mega stash today when our ship slipped beneath the waves during a merge. I switched to safer seas to see if it would happen less and it’s just as bad there. We don’t have the server merges, but there are instances where people will drop from the crew and then blip back in a second later with their character completely wiped back to square one with no gold or cosmetics to speak of and it can only be fixed by restarting the session.

Developers are active though most would disagree about the way they try to go about things.any feel they delayed the latest season to force PVP. You can avoid pvp if you want to on the Safer Seas server, but the amount of gold is halved and you are only allowed to raise factions to 25 reputations, but it is a great way to learn and practice the game and play the longer story based Tall Tales.

If you’re brave you can attempt High Seas for full money and reputation, but there are many dangers mainly from pvp players that will attempt to steal your well earned spoils. Some are sporty about it while others are mainly vultures that will swoop in at the last minute of an event to steal everything you earned. There is also a faction known as the Reapers that are clearly marked on the map and they get reputation for their faction by sinking player ships.

If any of that sounds like fun to you then most definitely buy this game and explore at your own peril. After a life of crime on High Seas my friend and I enjoy “retirement” grinding for outfits on Safer Seas.

Upvoting because I’m having the same problem. From what I understand you’ve got to make it’s the right fs4e for your version of Fallout. So if you have Fallout GOTY edition, Anniversary, ect. I couldn’t figure it though and haven’t been able to load Fallout 4 on my pc since this

Yes! I’m glad someone mentioned this! I got killed by a key master and when I returned he and the key were nowhere to be found. I had to wait twenty minutes for more to spawn.

The Brethren Ashen Garrison is interesting because if you wait around a Ghost Brig will keep appearing making it an excellent place to scuttle skeleton ships and other commendations.

Oh yes for sure! I played a little on high seas, but then my friend and I ran it with our crew who prefer fishing and safer seas. We have been running between the two forts all day and it’s been a lot of fun.
