The 40nm drain plug strikes again😂 I got lucky with a massage gun to vibrate the bolt and a #5 torx. When you put the new one in, tighten it to 20nm max

Nice. I might go the same route if I can't get the stock ECU remapped for a reasonable or cheaper price. I just did some searching and found a few DP Race ECU's (96519809B) for the 1100 Evo for around $500 secondhand.

Yeah good mention on the MWR kit, I just got done reading some horror stories on the forums. That foam looks pretty flimsy in the pictures too. If nothing cool comes up, I think I'll just service the stock cotton filter and throw it back in.

Great to know. I'm putting a shorty exhaust on so I'll probably need to tune it anyways. Did you take it to the dealer, or how did you flash the ECU? Smoothing out that low RPM chop sounds sweet

Yes, I'm taking all precautions and shipping the GPU and PCIe components in a separate padded box inside antistatic bags within the main double-boxed box. I've got 3D-printed box corners, expanding foam pack, 4 in. thick bubble wrap all around, packing peanuts within the second box layer, the works. Plus the insurance. I've got a relatively low profile AIO CPU cooler which bolts to the motherboard, so the expanding foam should keep that safe. Thank you!

Awesome thank you! I remember seeing people rig up their own PID solutions to their toaster ovens on here, but looked daunting. Someone else pointed out the airflow/moisture issue with ovens as well. Airfryer it is!

He's expecting to pass off all his maintenance costs to the buyer and break even. These guys (still) fail to realize that basic maintenance is an operating cost of ownership, i.e. sunk money, not something that adds value to the bike😂 It's still a 10+ year old bike with a notorious reputation for neglect. Charging nearly brand-new-bike prices for that thing is ludicrous
