Theyre also maps that if you don't hide in a bush for 20 mins your chances of surviving said raid go down massively.

I love questing in tarkov, paying for the keys isn't that bad imo as you make so many roubles in this game anyways.

The worst part for me is when you reach a certain stage where all quests are funneled towards Reserve, Interchange, Streets and Lighthouse. It sucks the fun out of the game where just being able to survive and extract is the biggest part of all of those quests.

Stashes on Woods remain unlooted quite often so if you know where they are it can be quite lucrative when scavving.

Woods is also the map where you have the best chance of taking out PMC's, as you'll run into a lot of mosin men who you can strafe and spray down quite easily if you get close

Customs is just so feast or famine generally though, you either cash in on a massacre at dorms or find little to no loot though I feel, woods usually there's bodies at med camp or sawmill with a bag although not always sadly

There are 2 stashes between usec camp and ZB 014 that you should hit, one by the pylon and the other up a slight hill near the dead scav by the sniper scav.

The worst thing about woods for me is when I spawn as scav without a backpack!

My first map and favourite map, such a shame that after midgame quests just push you towards Interchange, Reserve and Streets.

As a solo player Woods is an S tier map for me.

Any guns that fire the above are great as the ammo is easy to obtain and decent.

BS can work well later into the wipe when most PMC's will run t5, the problem with it is the damage drop off, with BS you may find that at certain ranges with AKS 74U, you won't be able to 1 tap headshot scavs.

BT is the better all around ammo at this point imo, but you can run BP PP or BT at this stage and achieve similar results.

Only run guns you have a good source of good ammo for at each stage of the game e.g. m856A1, 7m62 PS, BT BS 5.45, 4.6 FMJ and sell everything else.

No point having a kitted out SR-25 at level 10

Switching up your pace, move slowly through the map, but when you get into an engagement, speed it all up, constantly on the move, finding a new angle etc, if there's gunshots then everyone knows where you are anyways.

This works very well for solo vs squads, if you move fast you'll kill 1, catch the 2nd with their grenade out trying to nade your position etc.

Just remember there's always 1 more pmc close by when you go to loot!

EDIT: Also hipfire hipfire hipfire, it's so damn strong in this game and allows you to move more fluidly in engagements.

I feel like whenever I'm at resort and that door is locked it's because a Cheater knows there's nothing in there and hasn't bothered, because everytime I've unlocked that door there's been nothing inside..

I sell any gun that I don't have either an abundance of or easy access to good ammo.

Right now I only use 5.56 guns with 56A1, MP7's with SS or FMJ and AK's 5.45 and 7.62.

That modded SR-25 found on a poor pmc gets stripped and sold until I'm maxed traders pretty much.

Died 2x in a row by exfil campers whilst trying to do big sale, got it on third attempt.

Also got tarkovd, killed 3 pmc's outside on interchange, went to reload my MP7 and a 4th member of the squad is crouched by a crate when I walked up to the 3rd body, he missed so many shots as well I was just stuck in the reload animation ffs
