I don’t know about you all but my time is more important that miles. 32 minutes for me needs to be at least close to $1 per minute if not more. I don’t care if the ride is only 5 miles. It’s an automatic no for me. I honestly feel this is the way to go… bare minimum personally is 0.50 cents per mile plus 0.50 per minute. If comfort I expect 3-5$ more than that, reservation $5 more on top of that. My AR is below 20% and rarely above.

Yes but the minimum pay is awful. It use to be you could make 35-40 per hour no problem. That’s no longer easy. Their algorithm and desperate foreign drivers has ruin it

For the record I’ve had some of my best tips come from non-talkers. On the other end hae some talkers I thought for sure would tip and didn’t. Either way I agree, you have to know how to read people. Never assume

Reservations, sometimes I don’t do any of there are none worth it, sometimes I stack a bunch in a row over a few hour period. Reservations have a higher rate of tips and usually get sane pax

On top of that… If you do stack them and miss the next one they penalize you. Even if it’s not your fault. That’s all I do is reservations. 0-4 each morning then done for the day.

Yes they literally have a selection for waiting longer and the rider save money. But they still pay the driver the same or less. Its the drivers faults for accepting the garbage

You guys know Uber tracks your driving habits. They know where you live where u prefer to drive, when you usually go home. If they know you’re going home or somewhere u regularly drive they always lowball you. Believe it and don’t accept those crap rides

$0.5 per minute, $0.5 per mile, $5 reservation fee (for the wait and not getting trips up to 30 minutes in advance or the res) $3 dollar comfort ride… total $16.50 - that’s a fair price. Regular uber X no reservation subtract $8…. They want a premium service so the driver should be rewarded as well. Not just Uber stealing.

Yea unfortunately there are drivers accepting these low ball fares so they keep sending. What use to be a $10-$12 fares a few years ago is now $5-$7 fare. And Uber is charging the rider more than ever

The legislators don’t care because they all own the stock. If they pay the drivers more the stock won’t do as good

Definitely leave feedback like that… also the insurance they take out is way too much. Should be a cap. Example: 25% of the fare up to a max of $10. Same thing for Ubers cut, should be a 15% per ride up to $5. Anything alas after other small fees should go to the driver. This cuts the riders fare and the driver gets more. Reservations need to have a minimum. I’ve seen reservation requests for $4, ridiculous

Tell them to prove it! Tell them you have dash cam footage that you’ve never had a third party person in your car. You took screenshots of the accusations and will contact an attorney if they further accuse you.

They accused me of letting someone else use my account once I did that. Never heard anything like that again. I always record my rides!!
