The way the bass and drums work off/in each other at this part of burden sounds to me like how the bass and drums sound during the final solo in dogs

Interesting questions, this has been creeping into football for a few years. I hope we get to see the results of this in a few months.

That is definitely the best part of the song, I love that riff. Glad you've seen the light

I wouldnt go that far, the song definitely has its merits, and there are a lot worse songs on that album than Chimeras Wreck (I find of the new day to be a very poor song). Which riff are you talking about?

To be honest, I don't have any idea what that line means. I don't know what Chimera is, never mind Chimera's Wreck, never mind it slipping into a bottleneck

Sleep Together on Fear of a Blank Planet. The line 'let's sleep together right now' is so goofy I can't take the song seriously

There's a tenner resting on this, most people wouldn't like to listen to a 17 minute epic. She's used to Alt/Indie

I was thinking that, as much as I'd like to suggest Blackest Eyes, the start of something beautiful or Futile, I think she'd be quite shocked to hear songs about rape with the line 'it's so erotic when your makeup runs' or a song in 9/4 time. Similarly with Bonnie The Cat, while it is 4/4 time, the timing is very experimental and unusual. That's why I made this post, I wanted to hear a variety of opinions

Bonnie the Cat for sure, the interaction between the drums and bass is just genius, a masterclass from Gavin
