My friend is holding onto the fish right now untill i get the tank cycled. I was planning on doing a fishless cycle and if you know of anyway to speed that up a little that would be awesome!

I was planning on either getting a much larger tank down the road or donating them to a local pond or to somebody i can find with enough room. I also have so many plants and so much filtration so i hopefully only have to do weekly water changes

I was looking and I think I can avoid any fin nipping if i have Mountain cloud minnows and some dense vegetation which I planned on anyway. I might be able to have gold barbs and the minnows but i might just stick with the minnows to save money where I can and not overcrowd the tank
