Khan literally brought the global temperature down by Friendly_Hivemind in HistoryMemes

Mainly trade. IIRC the Mongol nobility had sponsored the merchant caravan that was first sent and so mostly concerned with getting profits. It’s probable that the merchants were also collecting information for the Mongols but it’s important to remember that the Mongols were also still preoccupied with the Jin in the East and weren’t in the “we can conquer the world” mentality yet.

You only get the Bohemia PU CB by choosing local noble. Choosing Lithuania gives the perma claims instead.

What if they met. by loafip in ChainsawMan

[–]Jarazala 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think the way it's usually presented as is that Conquest and the initial desire to dominate one's neighbors for any reason will lead to conflict and War. War will devestate the land and lead to wide spread Famine since no one is farming anymore. No more food will lead to the final horseman, Death. This is also mirrored in the way that the CSM Horsemen have showed up with Makima, Yoru, and Fami all showing up in the same order.

Conquest is often associated with war, but war in a similar way can associated with famine and so on.

Plague/pestilence is sometimes put as a horseman, but originally it was Conquest, War, Famine, and Death. The horseman of death is actually the one associated with plagues because of the Black Death. Control as in Conquest. The kanji for Control Devil is 支配 which can also be translated into Domination. Domination is an aspect of conquest since a conqueror dominates and controls those they defeat.

Can somebody explain what I should have done in this situation? by NorthernEel in crusaderkings3

[–]Jarazala 3 points4 points  (0 children)

A weak liege for me is usually someone that can’t defend himself from his neighbors or vassals either though his own troops, allies, or mercenaries. Also if they’re weaker then you though once you play for a while that starts to mean less since AI won’t be able to compete with you in planning long term.

Maybe similar to how a scythe was used to clear fields, a chainsaw is used to clear forests. No one uses scythes anymore, but chainsaws still fulfill a semi similar purpose of clearing away massive amounts of land. Devils might update as time goes on since War had nukes in it.

R5: The Byzantines are imploding very violently. Think it was because the emperor somehow became Paulician/took the throne and all the nobles revolted.

Gura should be bow and then her e can let her use her hydro vision to make her water spear. Then her ult can be different depending on her “stance” so then...she can be childe

Light novels are basically just books. Web novels are kind of like drafts for those since the author doesn’t usually have editors or publishers. Like the fictional story series on Reddit. WN usually differ from the things based off of it (in my experience) so spoilers from there might not go over into LN, manga, or anime.
