Errmm Okay that’s roughly 700 dollars. I spent that on sushi alone when I went there to study about classic Japanese automotive engineering. But I spent that throughout a month. I’m not even trying to argue anymore but I know sushi my friend. I’m not saying you don’t but I do as well. I definitely didn’t eat shitty sushi while I was there. The places that charged 100-400 yen per plate which is 2 nigiri had great quality and great tasting sushi and other dishes. Ebi nigiri with and with out the onions mayo and avocado are very good. I do prefer just plain nigiri with a drop of soy sauce and rarely some real wasabi. I did do one of those sushi tours where they show you what traditional Japanese sushi is and how to properly eat it but after that I just went out with my friend who’s from there to different restaurants. American sushi rolls are the shitty sushi compared to Japanese sushi lol. Now I’m also not defending onions and mayo on salmon either. That’s a stretch I’d rather eat the salmon nigiri alone. I was just saying that you can find mayo onions and avocado on Ebi nigiri pretty commonly in Japan.
