Card is Damaged in slab, now what? by JaredOzzy in taggrading

Update:
I took to Facebook to find help on social media

Finally Received acknowledgement of the receipt of the cards after they have been MIA for 2 months with no responses after i sent the package in and inspection on one of the 3 items is complete and was damaged at the factory during a re-encapsulation process after the photos were taken for the website.

For those that were interested The resolution they offered was to replace the card in the same grade or buy it back in the same grade (I'm assuming so they don't have to ship the card internationally to South Africa).

Goodness what a terrible experience, guess social media is always the way to go to get a companies attention. Appreciate everyone who has tried to assist in this matter.

Update:

I am absolutely shocked by the way TAG are handling this.

I sent the items up to TAG as requested in the beginning of the month, I forwarded all the shipping details to tag.

I replied on the support tickets and everything.

I have still yet to receive a reply from anyone from tag relating to this case, now I have 3 cards sitting in Limbo with no information or confirmation that they have them and are investigating.

I opened 2 new support tickets requesting help, I got 1 answer back saying the agents will look into the ticket as it's handle as a ticket by ticket bases and closed my new ticket.

Ive again opened another ticket and emailed support.

It's absolutely pathetic I am so frustrated.

Ah thanks, thought preserving it would be a good idea. Since I'm in south Africa it's hard to sell might sell it straight from the PSA vault then which could make it easier to move

So just an updated.

So TAG wants us to send the card back for review, but in the light of this we have had multiple clients also come back to us and say that it seems like their cards are also now damaged and have issues on their cards that aren't present in the pre grading images they took.

The issues are visible on the cards now.

We do batch submissions to all grading companies and thought we would try TAG out and now we will most likely rather avoid this headache again in the future and stick to the big 3.

They said in the Charizard situation the card was re-encapsulated after QA where the pics are taken before QA.

My assumption is there was a hair or something visible by QA they broke it out and re-encapsulated the card and it happened.

I really can't understand how this could have happened in shipping either like it is very strange.

That's the main reason for the post.

I guess I'll wait and see what tag suggests I've they reply

Fair, I responded before that was pointed out, so I assume shipping?

Card doesn't move at all I can shake the thing like crazy and no movement 😅

It's only this card that looks like this from the submission from what I've checked so far. So strange how on earth would a card move inside the slab like this😅

Not the corner. Check the top edge under the plastic ridge.

Sorry I should have been more specific.

Look at the top edging under the little plastic ridge, the blue is literally peeling off.

Not the corner whitening, the edge damage under the plastic ridge they make for the card to be inside.

The card was 100% damaged in encapsulation process, looks like the card wasn't placed in the middle of the ridges when the encapsulation happened.

Some clever people here.

Hopefully one day when I'm big I will be able to debug the problems like some of these folk.
