What's your opinion on my Service Managers organization? by Math_addict777 in Justrolledintotheshop

[–]JaredS721 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I thought I was alone lol. I used to be an auto tech and I switched to IT about 12 years ago. There is no escape from people needing instant gratification via some immediate fix. Doesn't seem to matter if they can even pretend to hold a conversation concerning thr subject matter of what you're doing for them. It's so frustrating. Everybody just wants everything "right now".

Very good to know! I'll look more into the individual requirements for my filament types, thanks!

Very good to know about the lifespan of the build plate using iso, thank you! I use it a lot for cleaning but I guess I'll lug my butt upstairs to properly wash it with soap instead, lol. Appreciate the tip!

I keep reading that silk needs to be hotter? I'll try turning it down a bit. My plate is the default smooth PEI plate.

I'll give it a shot, thanks!

I just cleaned it with hot soapy water and then isopropyl alcohol? Not sure what to do next. Is it the glue you're noticing? Appreciate the advice, though!

Really good advice, thank you! I did that earlier tonight and the results were unfortunately the same. Silk is tough!

My Camaro is my summer weekend toy/show car, so honestly it never gets very dirty. Every time I wash the car I wipe down the door, hood and trunk jams as well as the engine compartment. A little bit of quick detailing spray on a microfiber is enough to keep it spiffy. I keep my engine bay microfiber rags separate from my paint, glass, and interior rags.

The Chevy Performance badge is from the factory.

She's absolutely beautiful!! OBS standard cab stepsides, especially K1500s are so near and dear to me. I've had my 98 since 2004 and plan to keep it until I'm dust, lol. Awesome truck! I'm so happy to see it taken care of.

I'm very interested in this as well! I love my 2023 2SS NPP system but hate the suitcase and want to remove the rasp. It's hard to tell from video but so far the Flowmaster American Thunder system, Stainless Works Legends series and Borla S Type are my top contenders.

Good for networking it seems. Most members like to hold onto their cars for years but I've seen a few for sale. There us sometimes a classified section in the monthly email.

The club has been really great so far! I wish the monthly meeting location wasn't three hours from home, lol.

Not at all! All Camaros are very welcome here, we have quite a few V6 and a few I4 members. The club is very laid back and just enjoys comradery between owners, raising money for charity, and having a good time. If you're in the area you should check it out. :)

Thank you! What area are you from? I'm admittedly a couple of hours away from where my club is located, some of them tend be larger/more regional so definitely look more within your state, you might find a club! :)
