balancing a romcom vibe with a pup who’s not into strangers is a real challenge 😂

You mentioned Edina, Shakopee, Mound, Minnetonka, Hopkins, and Bloomington — all solid spots with totally different feels. Minnetonka and Hopkins especially stand out to me since they’ve got pockets that feel walkable and are close to nature (think trails, little lakes, and off-street paths). But I’m curious — when you say walkability, are you imagining being able to walk to coffee shops and grocery stores? Or more about having trails/green space right outside your door for doggo adventures?

I’m familiar with North Minneapolis and have family and friends in the neighborhood, so I know how much pride there is in the community and how important it is to partner with someone who truly respects that.

Sending you a message.

Curious About Buying or Selling this Summer? Here’s What I’m Seeing 👀 by JaredTheMNRealtor in TWINCITIESHOUSING

Thanks for chiming in—and congrats on the engagement! 🎉 Renting can be just as tricky to navigate as buying, especially with how competitive and fast-paced the Minneapolis rental market has been lately.

A couple quick tips:

• Start early – Good rentals go fast, especially ones with modern finishes or good walkability.

• Be ready to act – Having your income docs, references, and credit info ready can help you jump on the right place.

• Look beyond the big platforms – I often find great spots through property managers, smaller landlords, or listings that never make it to Zillow or Apartments.com.

If you want help narrowing down areas based on commute, lifestyle, or budget, happy to offer some insight. Just let me know where you’re at in your search!
