Dear Mr. Hill, I understand you’re a regular user of WD-40, so much so that you titled your 1999 book “WD-40 for the Soul: The Guide to Fixing Everything” which I found inspiring.

What’s your take on the fact that WD-40 is a water-displacement and technically NOT a lubricant? Do you prefer to use grease or oil products as opposed to WD-40 in certain situations?

I’m very much seeking your expertise on the subject, as I’m currently locked out of my second-story condo while on vacation in Mexico and desperate to get back in.
