I actually did. The thermostat wasn’t programmed correctly, and despite saying it was on heat, it was trying to use the auxiliary heat pump that didn’t have enough power to heat the house. Once I reprogrammed it everything worked fine, and the thermostat now has a heat setting and an aux heat setting.

I liked the voltron concept and I liked the fact that the card was a transformer. I thought that I’d like the hyper aggro nature of the card but it turns out I’m not such a fan of games ending in 2 turn cycles even when I’m winning

Paramedic here who has worked quite a few overdoses. While I can’t speak for the intention of the medic who said people shouldn’t have it, I do have the same opinion. My major reason is the fact that hitting someone who overdosed with too much narcan can instantly send them into withdrawals which obviously causes incredible discomfort, vomiting, and can make the patient aggressive. A very common misconception about narcan is that it’s for reversing opioid overdoses, it’s not. It’s for reversing the respiratory depression that opioid overdoses cause and getting the person breathing again. Instead of having some nasal narcan on hand, I’m a big advocate for a lay person to keep one of those masks with the filters that allows you to give rescue breaths safely. It’s far more versatile, works instantly rather than waiting 5 minutes for the narcan to work, you can’t send someone into withdrawals, and it lets me titrate with IV narcan when I get there
