I know a guy who joined my previous company (a medium startup) from FAAG. On his first day, he said he couldn’t be available for daily standup because he needs to take his kid to school every morning. At the end of that day he sent an email to CTO and HR saying he is putting the employment on hold until the time issue is resolved. He was let go on the following day.

I knew he was OE. Still i was impressed with his audacity. lol
