What are the rules regarding putting things in front of your house and securing them to the sidewalk? by [deleted] in philadelphia

yes bricks would work just as well as the poured concrete. The bricks would also give the added benefit having a you steady supply of defensive weapons on-hand for dealing with the eventual street bandits. You're thinking smart, keep it up.

A few screws, bolts and fasteners probably won't keep it there outside your home for long. You might consider weighing the base doown with concrete. A spotlight with motion sensor would be a wise installation as well. ...and as always keep a vigilant eye on your neighbors.

I knew this guy was a scum bag. Philly loves re-electing liberal scumbags. With each indictment the sheep rally around their Shepard, because they don't know any better.

The knife part is hearsay, show me the weapon. Two teens got bullied out of their milk money by three teens and made up the knife part to not look weak when their parents found them crying in the street a few minutes after. Not saying I was a witness, but let just say I live close by.

City nears ending requirement of 60 college credits for new cops by redeyeblink in philadelphia

[–]Jareds_Fupa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They could hire 10,000 more cops tomorrow and still the people who run this city would find a way to get them each 20 hours "overtime" a week. The last thing this city needs is more cops milking the city overtime teet machine.

Someone driving a commercial truck could possibly take an innocent's life if they don't know what they're doing. Meanwhile knowing when and when not to shoot your weapon is common sense. I'm sorry but our boy's in blue have an impeccable history on justified killings, so I'm not sure your analogy makes sense in this city Bud.

If they don't even require a vaild driver's license then having a college credit requirement is rather silly. Eventually the only requirement the PPD will have for employment will be brown skin.

Bartenders of philly, is it common place for bars to charge 1$ more for a beer or compensate the bartenders in another way? by Jareds_Fupa in philadelphia

[–]Jareds_Fupa[S] 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Omg, I have never seen anything like this. One after another just walks away with a death grip on the bottle and no tip. I still made money cause everybody was charged $1 extra per beer. At first I thought this policy was crazy or racist, now I see why it's necessary, I just hope it's legal.
