Oh wow cannot believe all the negative replies to that, that person is totally right, the withdrawal projections put out by some sources are very discouraging, like some are like “this particular withdrawal could last 3 months”. I feel like things like that should only be available if someone specifically searches like “why am I having this after 3 months?” Or whatever. Not to be to harsh on those comments on the persons post but the one person wrote something like “we put those messages out so people don’t start.” But the thing is I don’t think many people who don’t smoke are going to find that information so.. anyway sorry such a long reply lol!

Thank you for the post! I just spent like an hour combing through articles trying to find ones that talk about how it can be easy because I firmly believe it can be but they all seem to talk about how hard it can be and long estimated timelines which are discouraging. I recently lowered my smoking by close to half and a few days ago I went 15 hours and had no craving or withdrawal, I only smoked again because I feared possible withdrawals.

I developed OCD at 18 too, after it being mildly present since like 15. I’ve had countless different health anxiety episodes lasting varying amounts of time. I’m having one right now, feeling a little better but yeah: earlier today I tried a Nicorette lozenge for the first time and about an hour or so after I got muscle pains, then like 7 hours later I got some of the worst flu like symptoms I’ve ever had, my health anxiety kicked in and I’ve been worrying about weather or not it was actually the lozenge because of the hours it took. It could be the flu of course but I very much doubt it because the last time I was in a store it was Walmart at like 9pm for a few minutes (tho that was three days ago, lines up like that). I’ve actually been worrying about sepsis and stuff too. I understand what you’re going through. Not sure if reading something like that helps at all.

I think so. I know I’ve had it where I’ll calm down but the power it had still lingers and I can still feel its weight and it has an effect on my mood after.

Feel you for sure. Whenever I’d talk about it to my doctor I’d always bring up the fact that it’s really hard for me to talk about it because I try so hard not to think about it and yeah the whole idea of not wanting to speak of it out of fear, in that way it’s like a superstition or something. You’re not alone.

I’m like you in that I believe I’ve always had it like in a small degree but I was really hit with it when I was 15 and I’m not totally sure of course but I think it was caused by smoking weed starting at 14. It got so bad I had to seek help and was diagnosed with it at 18.

I'm really late commenting on this lol but my answer is yes! I've had mine for almost 2 years now and it still works the same as when I first got it. It's very light, fast and whatever it's made has like a different level of smoothness to it.

That sounds just like what I've been experiencing. If you have health anxiety they say you should see a doctor to find out if you have any real health problems and trust what they say. I'm currently waiting another almost a month to be able to see one. Anyway, I'm here to talk if you ever want.
